Why do we love this wine?
What lands in the glass is genuinely different territory for a red blend - vivid purple, floral on the nose, with black and red fruit running underneath. Redcurrant and blackcurrant lead the palate, joined by raspberry and a touch of liquorice, then gentle tobacco and herbs that drift somewhere close to a warm Mediterranean courtyard. Firm tannins close it out, giving real grip through the finish.
