A blend of mostly Grenache with Shiraz and a splash of Mataro, this is genuinely seductive stuff. Sweet red fruit, blood plum and morello cherry lead the way, with rhubarb, hibiscus and a savoury, earthy edge giving it real depth, plus milk chocolate and boysenberry rounding things out.

Why do we love this wine?
This GSM comes from a Barossa producer who was basically destined for winemaking - raised among the vines at Bethany, trained properly, chased vintages around the world, then came home and started small: two barrels in year one. The philosophy's stayed the same ever since - minimal intervention, letting great fruit do the talking. Medium-bodied, silky, and finishing soft and round. Drink now through 2033 - pour it slightly chilled alongside good olives for the full experience.
