Why do we love this wine?
This Barossa Valley blend combines old vine grenache, mataro and cinsault (46/39/15% this vintage) into something genuinely slurpable and effortlessly enjoyable. Lifted florals with slightly earthy rose petal character dominate the aromatics, while the medium-bodied palate shows beautiful mouthfeel with smooth, seamlessly integrated oak and tannin. The sweet fruit is balanced by slightly mineral savouriness that keeps everything fresh and moreish. What makes this particularly appealing is its versatility and approachability. It's got that vibrant hue and bouncy, lifted aromatic profile that flows into an airy mix of red fruits, spice, amaro and abundant florals. This one doesn't need to be over-analysed, just enjoy yourselves.
