The fruit comes from three distinct McLaren Vale sites featuring ironstone and limestone soils, plus remarkable 75-year-old bush vines. These ancient vines have developed deep root systems that access unique mineral profiles and produce naturally concentrated fruit with exceptional complexity. The varied soil types contribute different textural elements - ironstone adds structure and spice, while limestone brings elegance and finesse to the final blend.

The 24-month maturation in 40% new French oak strikes an ideal balance between fruit expression and savoury complexity.
