Why do we love this wine?
If you like your shiraz unapologetically striking, this one’s for you. Dark as midnight and glossy in the glass, the nose leads with ripe plum, black cherry and violets, with milk chocolate and cedar peeking through. There’s a savoury graphite thread too, grounding all that plush fruit in something a little more serious. The palate is pure joy: black fruit, white pepper, and a gentle earthy spice unfolding over silky, beautifully resolved tannins. It’s generous, yes - but not just a fruit bomb. There’s texture, there’s structure, and there’s some serious drinkability for a wine with seven years under its belt. You could stretch this over a long night, or tuck a few away for even more reward.
