Why do we love this wine?
Glossy cherry fruit, delicate spice and an attractive savoury quality on the nose. The palate is bright and refined, with luscious red berry fruit, soft tannins and a natural acidity that keeps everything focused and alive through to a clean, elegant finish. Classic cool-climate Tassie Pinot. Drink it now or cellar it for a few years and watch it develop further complexity. Bright ruby with youthful crimson hues. Aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry and cranberry are lifted by rose petal, dried thyme and a gentle forest floor note. The palate is medium-bodied with vibrant cherry and raspberry fruit carried by fine, silky tannins and fresh natural acidity. Hints of earthy spice and subtle oak emerge through the mid-palate before a long, savoury finish. A top quality Pinot Noir showcasing the elegance of cool climate winemaking in Tasmania.
