Why do we love this wine?
The 2022 pinot is a masterclass in complexity, crafted from eleven individual vineyard lots across varied soils, clones and aspects. Each parcel was handled with precision and care to capture the purest expression of site - no shortcuts, no compromises. Indigenous yeasts led every ferment, while whole bunch inclusion, extended skin contact and tailored oak regimes were deployed to match the character of each block. You get is a wine that speaks of time and place, of terroir and hard yakka, it speaks of Curly Flat, and that's why we love it.
