Why do we love this wine?
Deep and complex, this delivers everything you could possibly ask of top-tier Coonawarra. Intense blackcurrant, cassis and ripe plum lead the nose, backed by classic regional notes of cedar, tobacco leaf, graphite and some savoury earthy notes. Full-bodied and hyper-concentrated on the palate, with a powerful yet refined tannin backbone giving it real structure. Dark fruit, savoury spice and oak-derived complexity unfold through the mid-palate, finishing long and authoritative with real savoury depth. This is Coonawarra Cabernet at its most serious.
