Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 - Clearance Deal #60547

This wine was sourced from individually selected cabernet parcels across premium vineyards. Each block was vinified and matured in oak before blending to highlight the variety’s power, complexity and sense of place. As soon as you pop the top, the bouquet leads with cassis, cedar, bay leaf and dark chocolate, lifted by notes of supple leather and freshly tilled earth. On the palate, ripe blackcurrant and plum mingle with smooth milk chocolate, all held together but a savoury but firm tannin structure. A thread of balanced acidity gives freshness, while oak maturation adds layers of cedar spice and length. The finish is long, persistent and effortlessly elegant (in that grunty cabernet way). Drinking beautifully now, but will continue reward careful cellaring until at least 2030.
