Why do we love this wine?
26 months in 35% new French oak is nothing to shake your head at. That means a couple of things. It means this is a serious wine, it means the wine has concentrated fruit, it means the wine has gorgeous natural acid and it means that this wine was constructed to live long in the cellar of anyone with the patience. Juicy blackcurrant and blackberry flavours, velvety tannins and remarkable oak notes of pencil shavings, spice and vanilla. The acid and tannin in this wine are pure and enduring, this is by no means finished ageing. If we're honest, we're going to drink it now, we've been eyeing this one for a few years and have lost our patience, we very highly recommend that you test yours.
