Why do we love this wine?
It pours deep red with a purple rim, and the nose is a genuinely lovely mix of red berries, rose petals and raspberry before blackcurrant and dark chocolate take the wheel. A 61/39% Cabernet-Shiraz blend from old vines, eased through eighteen months of French oak until the wood knows its place and the fruit gets to shine. On the palate, expect cassis, dark mint chocolate and spice, with tannins that are firm but never harsh. It's full-bodied, fresh, and holds its line right through to a smooth, creamy finish loaded with plum and spice. A truly great wine from an all-time great of the wine industry.
