Why do we love this wine?
There is an expectation of premium pinot that it has genuine presence in the mouth, this meets and surpasses that expectation. Red cherries and raspberries sit on top of fine grain tannins. The acid is seamlessly stitched into every part of the wine, giving it a real 'line-drive' feel. There's tart winter strawberry and a bit of red apple on offer, too. Most pleasing is the weight of the wine on the palate. A fine example of Kiwi pinot that's ready to drink, but will certainly develop further with a short spell in your cellar.
