Founded in 1986 in Viana, just outside Rioja’s historic heart, Bodegas Ondarre has quickly built an international reputation, with this Reserva winning multiple accolades including a Gold Medal at the International Wine Challenge and 96 points from Decanter. Crafted from 90% Tempranillo and 10% Mazuelo, each parcel was vinified separately before blending and 16 months of aging in American and French oak casks. The result is a wine with both elegance and structure - classic Rioja with a modern sheen. Honestly, this might just be the best value Reserva we've ever had the pleasure of tasting.
