Why do we love this wine?
Elegant and structured in that classic warm-climate cab way - dark berry fruit, blueberry and bramble upfront, with dried herbs, sage, a whisper of churned earth and cedary oak adding savoury complexity underneath. The tannins are fine and focused, the finish long and satisfying, with that lovely minty cool-climate edge that McLaren Vale Cab does so well. Drink it over the next six to eight years, or crack it tonight. Either way you're onto a good thing.
