Why do we love this wine?
Coal River Valley is a cool-climate wonderland and Riversdale Estate nails it with precision, personality, and pedigree. The Centaurus Pinot Noir is a barrel-select reserve with earthy power and pepperberry spice, made from just 5 of 118 barrels in 2022. The 2023 Estate Pinot Noir is gorgeously perfumed and tightly structured, with dark cherry, floral lift, and spicy oak integration. The wild card is 2025 Pinot Meunier, juicy, crunchy, and energetic, bursting with green strawberry, anise and wild berry brightness. Unfiltered, unfined, and unapologetically Tasmanian.

All fruit is estate-grown in Coal River Valley, TAS. Low yields, whole berry fermentation, minimal intervention, and small batch handling across the board. The Centaurus is unfiltered and aged in 225L French oak. The Estate Pinot sees oak finesse. The Meunier is stainless-only for crunch and clarity.
Drink now or cellar short-term. Serve cool. Pair with duck, mushroom pasta, or charcuterie.
