1x Eldridge Single Vineyard Pinot Noir 2019
Red — Pinot Noir
Mornington Peninsula — Australia
This particular wine has many parallels with Burgundy - from the latitude, planting density and finer points of the terroir, even down the winemaking practices. Not to mention the flavour... gee whiz, we've got a serious pinot noir on our hands here. It makes sense once you see the name on the label - you'll get what we mean. This aged Mornington pinot takes a clear position - fully de-stemmed in defiance of the whole-bunch obsession dominating Aussie pinot lately. Sometimes courage means zigging when everyone zags. A medium-bodied entry leads to a supple palate where red cherry, rhubarb and winter strawberry overlay forest floor earthiness, dried herbs, gamey notes and spicy cedar. Polished, silky tannins feel deliberate, slaty and genuinely thirst-quenching, melding with enduring natural acidity to elongate the whole affair very impressively. Again, we can't tell you the name of the producer... but we reckon you'll be weak at the knees once you get a glance at that label!
You’d pay $80 full price.

1x Thousand Candles Single Vineyard Pinot Noir 2023
Red — Pinot Noir
Yarra Valley — Australia
Yep, this is an absolute winner. From the distinctly perfumed nose, right down the smooth, oak-draped finish, it's clear that this is a seriously high quality bottle of pinot. Red cherries, baking spice and vibrant natural acidity work in perfect harmony. A fantastic expression of Yarra Valley pinot. Hand-picked from a single-vineyard that hasn't seen herbicides in over 10 years, this medium-bodied bombshell has blown us away with both its approachability and its complexity. 50% whole bunches and a gentle kiss of new French oak create a stage for pristine red fruit to sing on, and boy is it singing! Red cherries, ripe strawberries and just a touch of regional spice, this one's ready to go the distance. Drinking like a dream now, give it 5 years and we'll be dealing with an entirely different beast. 2 cases please, one for now, one for 2031.

1x Yering Lane Single Vineyard Pinot Noir 2025
Red — Pinot Noir
Yarra Valley — Australia
This is a Yarra Valley pinot with the precise prettiness that we've all come to expect from - huge call incoming - Australia's greatest pinot region. Grown in the luscious Yarra Valley hills of Gruyere, from the ever-popular MV6 clone, and matured for 10 months in French oak, it’s a wine that nails the balance between purity and complexity. The nose is singing - raspberry, cherry, poached rhubarb and a cool note of spearmint, with oak spice drifting through. The palate is built on bright acidity and soft, powdery tannins. Red currants, hibiscus and baked cherry pie. It’s layered, lifted and built to charm - a perfect match for mushroom gnocchi, but equally at home as the sole star of the show. You could absolutely drink now or watch it evolve over the next 5-6 years - the choice is yours.
You’d pay $55 full price.

1x Coombe Yarra Valley Estate Pinot Noir 2024
Red — Pinot Noir
Yarra Valley — Australia
We can't believe we've managed to get our hands on this one! From two of the most premium blocks in this producer's extensive holdings, this delicious drops is loaded with ripe dark fruits and red berries. Nine months on lees in premium French oak has imparted incredible drive and structure, but the wine remains elegant and silky on the palate, perfectly supported by ripe tannins. W-O-W!

1x Kellybrook Edenesque Pinot Noir 2024
Red — Pinot Noir
Yarra Valley — Australia
A blend of hand-picked pinot noir grapes from 3 Upper Yarra sites, the Siwa, the Willowlake and the Full Moon vineyards. If you've spent any time in or around the Yarra then you know those names. You know their reputation. You know what that fruit is capable of. It's all on display in this gorgeous bottle of wine. A vibrant ruby red in the glass that draws you in, then an aromatic hit that’s all about freshness and finesse. Think juicy raspberry and dark cherries, with little hints forest floor. The palate takes it up a notch - those bright red fruits are joined by sweet spice, with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and a gentle lick of toasty French oak. It’s layered, lively and dangerously drinkable. A beautiful balance of fruit and finesse.

This is Tassie pinot noir at its most inviting. Young, fresh and full of energy, it’s all about letting the fruit speak and keeping everything else nicely in check. No heavy extraction. No oak overload. Just clean, vibrant pinot doing what it does best. Pour generously, and don’t be surprised when the bottle disappears quicker than planned.
