1x Barringwood Estate Chardonnay 2025

White — Chardonnay

Tasmania — Australia

There's a feeling you get with great Tasmanian chardonnay that's hard to put into words. A brightness. A tension. A sense that everything in the glass is perfectly coiled and ready to go somewhere interesting. This is that feeling. Elegant, rich, energetic and full-bodied. This is a special wine. From one of northern Tasmania's most celebrated cool-climate estates - a site shaped by long daylight hours, maritime breezes and a slow, unhurried ripening season that produces fruit of extraordinary purity and focus. Stone fruit, citrus and a flinty, nutty complexity on the nose. The palate is precise and mineral, with a creamy texture and a long, bright finish that lingers in the most satisfying way. One of the better Tassie chardonnays on the market.

You'd pay $55 full price.

1x Yering Lane Single Vineyard Chardonnay 2025

White — Chardonnay

Yarra Valley — Australia

This is a Yarra Valley chardonnay with the precise prettiness that we've all come to expect from - huge call incoming - Australia's greatest chardonnay region... We're not the only people who think that either - just have a look at who wins 'Halliday's Chardonnay Challange' every single year! Right from the get-go, you're hit with complex florals and this zingy lemon-grapefruit thing that's as regional as it is delicious. Then you sip the thing - cashew creaminess, lemon meringue sweetness and juicy peach, alongside some smart oak work in action. The acidity's where it gets interesting - crunchy, bit salty, totally moreish. Finishes with a chalky edge that keeps things classy. This is a goodie.

1x Orlando Lyndale Chardonnay 2025

White — Chardonnay

Adelaide Hills — Australia

Cool climate chardonnay crafted with a deft touch - bright fruit, mineral drive, and just enough oak charm. If you like your chardy vibrant but still rich and generous, this one lands perfectly. This household name are still yet to let us down. A gorgeous wine. This Adelaide Hills chardonnay is a lively, modern, cool-climate white that nails the balance between flavour and finesse. It opens with ripe peach, pear and citrus, then swings into subtle struck match, orange peel and gentle spice for extra intrigue. The palate is medium bodied and tightly shaped, with a saline mineral line and fine acidity keeping everything fresh, while smart oak use adds a soft vanilla gloss and texture. It feels polished and confident without tipping into oiliness. A classy Hills chardonnay that drinks beautifully now and keeps you coming back for another glass... or two.

You'd pay $50 full price.

1x Driftwood Estate Artifacts Chardonnay 2024

White — Chardonnay

Margaret River — Australia

Big, broad citrus flavours lead the fruit profile with some ripe red apple, nectarine, and tropical melon flavours following tightly behind. The oak profile is steeped in vanilla bean and sweet spice, and in classic Margs style its present but never over-bearing. A bit of wafty sea breeze (is that the Indian Ocean we’re picking up?) coupled with a steely minerality that chimes in on the finish. While this is a new wine to us, the producer is an absolute Mofo fave.

You'd pay $45 full price.

1x Spring Vale Melrose Chardonnay 2025

White — Chardonnay

Tasmania — Australia

Tasmania does chardonnay like nowhere else. This barnstorming release is all about cool-climate finesse — the island’s crisp air, long ripening, and mineral-rich soils give the wine that signature lift and vibrancy. It’s elegant, focused, and effortlessly drinkable — a perfect showcase of why Tasmania keeps punching above its weight for chardonnay. This one pours a pale straw and immediately leans into that cool-climate energy - white peach, nectarine and citrus blossom up front, with a little melon and a gentle spice note floating behind. There’s a faint whiff of crème fraîche and crushed stone that gives it that unmistakable Tassie edge. On the palate it’s all about purity and pace. Stone fruit and bright citrus glide through the middle, carried by zesty acidity that keeps everything tight and refreshing. It’s crisp without being sharp, textured without getting heavy. A short stint on lees and a mix of stainless and seasoned French oak bring just enough creaminess to round it out, but the fruit is very much in charge.

You'd pay $32 full price.

1x Handpicked Regional Selections Chardonnay 2017

White — Chardonnay

Yarra Valley — Australia

The Yarra Valley does a lot of things well. Chardonnay might just be the best of them. And 2017 was quite possibly the best Yarra Chardy vintage in a lifetime. This one delivers absolutely classic Yarra vibes. Stone fruit, citrus, a mineral edge and a creamy, textured mid-palate built from careful French oak maturation. It's the kind of wine that works just as hard at a dinner table as it does on its own on a Friday afternoon. Vibrant, elegant and completely delicious. This one pulls fruit from two distinct parts of the valley - the warmer valley floor for richness and spice, and a high-altitude site in the Upper Yarra for citrus snap and nervous acidity. The result is a Chardonnay with real depth and complexity, where neither end of the spectrum dominates and everything sits in genuinely satisfying balance. Yarra Chardonnay at a price that makes grabbing a few an easy decision.

You'd pay $30 full price.
