1x Yering Lane Single Vineyard Chardonnay 2025

White — Chardonnay

Yarra Valley — Australia

This is a Yarra Valley chardonnay with the precise prettiness that we've all come to expect from - huge call incoming - Australia's greatest chardonnay region... We're not the only people who think that either - just have a look at who wins 'Halliday's Chardonnay Challange' every single year! Right from the get-go, you're hit with complex florals and this zingy lemon-grapefruit thing that's as regional as it is delicious. Then you sip the thing - cashew creaminess, lemon meringue sweetness and juicy peach, alongside some smart oak work in action. The acidity's where it gets interesting - crunchy, bit salty, totally moreish. Finishes with a chalky edge that keeps things classy. This is a goodie.

You’d pay $55 full price.

1x Barringwood Chardonnay 2024

White — Chardonnay

Tasmania — Australia

This comes from one of Tasmania's best producers - genuine elite territory. Small operation means limited production, which translates to genuinely hard-to-get bottles. When you find them, you grab them. We've got stone fruit and citrus zest rolling through a creamy, nutty base - all carried by that trademark Tassie acidity that keeps it crisp and focused. One that's just a worthy of analysis as it is of pure, unthinking enjoyment!

1x Driftwood Estate Artifacts Chardonnay 2024

White — Chardonnay

Margaret River — Australia

Big, broad citrus flavours lead the fruit profile with some ripe red apple, nectarine, and tropical melon flavours following tightly behind. The oak profile is steeped in vanilla bean and sweet spice, and in classic Margs style its present but never over-bearing. A bit of wafty sea breeze (is that the Indian Ocean we’re picking up?) coupled with a steely minerality that chimes in on the finish. While this is a new wine to us, the producer is an absolute Mofo fave.

You’d pay $45 full price.

1x Ghost Rock Sacrifice Chardonnay 2025

White — Chardonnay

Tasmania — Australia

Ghost Rock have truly achieved cult status, but that doesn't mean they've left the classics behind. This chardy is brimming with Tassie personality: citrus and mineral drive, with a delicate toasty vanilla edge. This right here is called class. This ripping chardy from Ghost Rock captures the vibrant spirit of Tasmania in true form. Bright and zesty, as all good Tassie chardy should be, balanced with a bold blend of ripe stone fruit, and a whisper of toasted oak. There's something elusive about this chardy; it's got all of us at Mofo HQ whispering with excitement. Great chardy is hard to find, even harder to get your hands on out of Tassie, and almost impossible to do at this price. Mofos, consider this fair warning: you don't want to miss out on this opportunity to nab the deal of a century.

You’d pay $42 full price.

1x Xanadu Vinework Chardonnay 2022

White — Chardonnay

Margaret River — Australia

Margaret River chardonnay has a reputation for a reason. And this producer has been one of the region's most consistent performers since the mid 70s. This chardonnay is where they get specific - single vineyard parcels, minimal intervention, and a focus on letting the site do the talking rather than telling the fruit what to do. The results speak for themselves. Poached pear, nectarine and grapefruit pith on the nose, with a creamy lees-driven texture underneath that adds weight without ever losing the wine's natural freshness. The acidity is bright and persistent, the oak is present but well-integrated, and the finish has a length and grip that tells you there's more to come with a little time in the cellar. Drink it now with something off the grill or sit on it for a few years and watch it open up into something even more complex. Either way, this is seriously good value for Margaret River chardonnay at this level and, to be honest, it's a bit of a no-brainer.

You’d pay $35 full price.

1x Handpicked Regional Selections Chardonnay 2019

White — Chardonnay

Yarra Valley — Australia

The Yarra Valley does a lot of things well. Chardonnay might just be the best of them. This one delivers absolutely classic Yarra vibes. Stone fruit, citrus, a mineral edge and a creamy, textured mid-palate built from careful French oak maturation and partial wild fermentation. It's the kind of wine that works just as hard at a dinner table as it does on its own on a Friday afternoon. Vibrant, elegant and completely delicious. This one pulls fruit from two distinct parts of the valley - the warmer valley floor for richness and spice, and a high-altitude site in the Upper Yarra for citrus snap and nervous acidity. The result is a chardonnay with real depth and complexity, where neither end of the spectrum dominates and everything sits in genuinely satisfying balance. Yarra Chardonnay at a price that makes grabbing a few an easy decision.

You’d pay $29 full price.
