1x St Hugo Signature Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
2021 is one of the greatest Coonawarra vintages ever recorded. And this crew are one of the greatest producers to ever churn the famous terra rossa soils of the region. 17 international awards and 96 points from Ken Gargett - "knife-edge balance and serious length... this really does impress." Five years of age and this wine is absolutely singing. And it one comes from arguably the most famous name ever to make Coonawarra cabernet. We can't tell you who. But when you see the label, you'll get it immediately. Deep crimson in the glass, with cassis, dark cherry, mint and cedar on the nose. The palate is seamless and beautifully structured - blackcurrant, dark plum and dusty Coonawarra minerality running through fine, sleek tannins and a finish that just keeps going. Five years in and already this compelling. The next decade and a half? Genuinely exciting. From a legendary vintage. From the most celebrated cabernet address in the country. From a producer whose name you already know.

1x Majella Silver Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2023
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
Dark magenta with a bright garnet hue, delivering classic eucalypt, mint and dark berry fruit, layered with rich fruitcake characters that add real complexity and power. The palate is concentrated and long, with fine, dusty tannins carrying it through to a satisfying finish. Drink it now or hold it for twelve to fifteen years. Either way, this is Coonawarra at its very best.

1x Robert Oatley Vineyards Finisterre Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Margaret River — Australia
The nose opens with cherry ripe and hints of vanilla. There’s obvious oak which, rather than overpower and detract from the fruit, merely adds another element of interest. It’s savoury with a gutsy core of savouriness, umami maybe? And that’s just the nose. Spice features early on the palate followed by a surge of fruit that runs through the spectrum of red to black. The tannin structure is bold and confident keeping everything in place. It finishes long and dry leaving you wondering what just happened. The fact there is so much going on and it remains entirely integrated is fascinating. Best go back for another look we say. Be warned though, you’ll probably be staring at the bottom of the bottle by the time you come to terms with each of the elements that make up this wine, it is intriguing. You could watch the bottle evolve over a few days and still discover something new with each sip.

1x Wynns Coonawarra Estate Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
Crafted with meticulous care and sourced from the finest Coonawarra vineyards, this producer's estate label embodies the region's renowned terroir. At this age, this wine is certainly in a fantastic drinking window but don't be fooled by the reasonable price point - this'll go for decades if need be. This wine is a testament to the winemaking legacy of Coonawarra, delivering a wine that celebrates tradition and innovation. In the glass, it reveals a deep, inky colour, promising a wine of profound depth and complexity. The palate is a symphony of flavours, where blackcurrants, plum, and subtle hints of eucalyptus dance harmoniously. Firm tannins provide structure, while the oak imparts a touch of elegance. Don't miss your chance to savour this extraordinary Cabernet Sauvignon, a true Australian icon.

1x Patrick of Coonawarra Two Blocks Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
We’re talking Coonawarra Cabernet through and through. Plush blackcurrant core with that tell-tale eucalypt and minty lifted palate, which flows effortlessly into a chocolate and coffee finish - the most classic of classics, the kind of wine everyone needs a case of in the cellar. This is one of those producers that really walk and talk quality. You might think that’s an inherent product of small family businesses, but we certainly know that’s not always the case. There’s unbelievable value packed into this bottle, with no effort or attention to detail spared. A decent 40% new oak contributes to sweet, abundant tannins that really make the whole drinking experience that much more exciting. This won over more than a few hearts at the tasting bench, so we’re pretty confident in saying that you’re going to be head over heels for it too, Mofo.
