2x Moss Brothers Field of Dreams Chenin Blanc 2024
White — Chenin Blanc
Margaret River — Australia
The producers of this wine have put a lot of thought in, so you don't have to. Chenin blanc is all about balance, and there is *a lot* to balance here: Subtle oak richness, slatey minerality and vibrant acidity, not to mention wonderful floral and citrus notes. But as we said, they've put all the thought in - you just enjoy yourself.
This is a great example of letting the grape variety shine and it took some real care in the vineyard and the winery to accomplish. Picked in the cool of the early morning hours and rough racked to allow some high solids in suspension, the juice is separated with the majority placed in French oak to ferment and the rest kept to wild ferment on skins to bring an extra textural element. The result is a quintessential Margaret River chenin - floral nose with hints of citrus and tropical fruits and a complex textural palate boasting quince and stone fruit and fantastic length. There's a reason Margs is the home of Aussie chenin, just let them do what they do best.

2x Three Elms Timbertops Gewurztraminer 2022
White — Gewurztraminer
Frankland River — Australia
Dead-set, you couldn't find a better wine for spicy asian food. The real 'BYO Bandit'. This is not your usual dry Aussie gewürz. It’s generous, silky and just a little bit decadent, with that little hint of sweetness dialled in perfectly to boost the perfume and texture. A reminder of how expressive this variety can be when given the freedom to shine.
You’d pay $35 full price.

2x Matriarch & Rogue 'Dilettantes' Fiano 2024
White — Fiano
Clare Valley — Australia
A party, nay a disco, in your glass! Apple, pear, and hay notes mix with floral honeysuckle and gentle spice backbeats. The palate again features a chorus of pear, lime and apple followed by a light nutty honey and lemon butter hook. The outro is fresh, dry, textural and lingering. All up, this is fiano so good you'll have it on repeat! Based out of the Clare Valley, from a rockstar woman in wine and a dedicated winemaker who chooses specific vineyards that speak to her love of fun, easy going wine. That’s our kind of winemaker! This fiano walks the line of green tropical fruits and preserved citrus, making it approachable on its own, or as the Italians would enjoy it - with food (we’re thinking seafood is called for). There’s a reason why fiano is becoming such a popular variety in Australia, and with this in our glasses, it’s easy to see why.

2x Windowrie Estate Pig in the House Picpoul Blanc 2024
White — Other White
Central Ranges — Australia
Bright but delicate aromatics of pear, apple and zesty lime set up a subtly structured palate with refreshing acidity and a soft, lingering finish. Looking to try something new without completely leaving your comfort zone? This is the one. Although unique in its elegance and subtlety, there's plenty of familiar flavours for the Australian palate on offer, zesty, refreshing, citrusy and slightly tropical. A complete and interesting table-white and, as the producer says, "this wine is a great accompaniment to oysters, seafood in general, and sunny afternoons".
You’d pay $28 full price.

2x Higher Plane SSB 2023
White — SSB
Margaret River — Australia
Few wines are quite so shamelessly smashable as a sem-sav blanc blend. And this one seems to be hell-bent on topping the pile. Semillon brings drive and freshness, with citrus and delicate herbs. The savvy brings passionfruit, nashi pear and mouthwateringly juicy lime flavours. The result is a combo that’ll keep you enchanted from first sniff to last sip.
You’d pay $25 full price.

2x Sidney Wilcox 'Flavabom' Field Blend 2022
White — White Blend
South Australia — Australia
Semillon, Chardonnay and Riesling, all co-fermented to lock in brightness, texture and pure aromatic joy. This is your go-to white for easy afternoons, seafood feasts or whenever you just want something fresh and vibrant in the glass. From the first swirl, citrus blossom, green apple and fresh herbs jump from the glass. On the palate, it’s a lively mix of white peach, lime, and honeydew melon, followed by layers of red apple, quince and a twist of dried ginger. Medium acidity keeps it crisp, while a gentle creaminess rounds it out with a soft, satisfying finish. A splash of spice, a touch of honey, and a whole lot of drinkability. This is a white that’s built for enjoyment. Chill it down, pour it generously, and let the good times flow.
You’d pay $25 full price.
