Why do we love this case?
We all know the expression about dangling a carrot in front of someone. But what if this entire case of wine is ‘carrots’ so to speak? You’ll get 11 bottles of The Home of the Brave shiraz, probably enough reason in itself to grab a case. But why stop there? We’ve added the ultimate carrot, a bottle of their lauded 'The Cream' shiraz, which is nothing short of a showstopper. All carrots, no sticks...that’s how we roll.
1x First Drop The Cream Shiraz 2018
Red — Shiraz
Barossa Valley — Australia
THE cream. This is really it- the best of the best. The cream of the crop, quite literally. First Drop make some truly unbelievable bottles of shiraz, but this is one to really sit and savour. A blend fruit from three immaculate vineyards in Ebenezer, Seppeltsfield, and Greenock sees 20 months in French and American oak barrels, bolstering this wine to quite unbelievable heights. It's a mammoth of a drop, laced with dutch licorice, a variety of baking spices and fresh rolling tobacco, and of course that deeply layered black fruit pallet. This has wow-factor in so many ways, it'll leave you speechless.
