1x Hewitson Cask 66 Shiraz 2024
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
After the previous two vintages received 99pts and 98pts, and nearly crashed our website upon release... this beauty has just scored a brace of 98pt reviews all for itself! Get in quick before it's all gone... again. From one of our favourite Barossa producers, who have brought us multiple 98 and 99 pointed drops before, comes this incredible special release shiraz that will continue to improve for the next 20 years. Careful maturation in specially selected highest-grade French oak, followed by barrel selection of the finest juice, has helped craft this unparalleled expression of the country's top grape/region combination. Compellingly complex, the nose shows rich, ripe plums and bramble fruit with black cherries. Supporting is an excellent intermingling of charcuterie, black olives, cocoa and liquorice. The palate is simultaneously refined and powerful, with beautifully ripe tannins and a clean line of acidity supporting an incredibly long finish. This is premium Barossa at it's absolute best.

Tasting Notes
1x Fox Creek Old Vine Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
This is no shrinking violet - it’s an unapologetically plush, full-bodied red built to impress the big-shiraz faithful. Think dark fruit liqueur meets espresso and plum sauce, with waves of chocolate, clove, date and anise all rolling in like a flavour parade. It’s rich, velvety and just this side of decadent, but not without brains. There’s iron and bay leaf cutting through, adding a savoury edge that keeps it from tipping into syrupy territory. Then the finish hits - long, dark and insanely deep - leaving you both satisfied and curious for another glass. This is a wine for the loyal McLaren Vale shiraz-heads. The ones who don’t apologise for loving flavour, weight and a bit of drama in their glass. If that’s you, clear some space in the decanter.

Tasting Notes
2x Reschke Cellar Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
This family winery have been landowners in Coonawarra for over 100 years. They are Coonawarra experts and the jewel in their crown is, of course, cabernet sauvignon. Their wines consistently score highly with critics and this 2020 cellar release is a showcase of a deep understanding of the land and masterstroke winemaking.
The blackberry fruit concentration is immense and elevated by fine, dancing tannin. It wouldn't be Coonawarra without the marriage of mint and tobacco, rounding out mouth-feel and driving complexity. This is fantastic drinking now and will age gracefully for another decade.

Tasting Notes
2x Di Fabio Winemaker's Selection Cabernet Blend 2018
Red — Cabernet Blend
McLaren Vale — Australia
Plush, rich blackberries and plums with a raspberry like acidity and wonderfully soft tannins. There's a good lick of oak but nothing distracting, a hint of eucalypt but it stops short of menthol. This wine's time in the cellar has done it absolute wonders - soft, smooth, silky, yet powerful, plush and ripe. A great wine from one of McLaren Vale's greatest producers.

Tasting Notes
2x Craneford Tribeca GSM 2023
Red — GSM
Barossa — Australia
Bright red and dark berries shape the palate, lifted by a ripple of spice and the natural generosity of the varieties. The fruit sits plush and mouthfilling, but the structure stays firm enough to keep everything in line. Soft tannins and a gentle warmth round it out, giving the wine an easy sense of flow. Bold, balanced and thoroughly crowd pleasing, it hits the sweet spot between richness and drinkability.

Tasting Notes
2x Hollick Red Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
This is jam packed full of black and red fruit - currants and raspberries mix with bramble and plums. The earthy and greener notes chime in late, backing up that initial fruit with some savoury depth. Classic Coonawarra - completely delicious. Estate fruit from the famed Hollick vineyards in Coonawarra, this is cab sauv like Aussies know and love. Certainly, a little bit of age behind this number has helped to fill out the mid palate, making it rich and dense with threads of fennel and mint throughout. It's very hard not to enjoy this wine - and we're speaking from experience.
