We all know the Barossa, and likely this icon of a wine, but do we really know it’s history? Introducing to you pioneers of this famed region, with this winery established over 150 years ago. They show no mercy when it comes to staying true to the region: meaty, bold, and focused reds with a whole lot of character. You know what we’re talking about: eye-catching hues of purple, soft and silky tannins, and more plummy goodness than you can poke a stick at. There’s cherry and rhubarb sure, but we’re talking unapologetic notes of chocolate, toasty oak and handfuls of freshly cracked pepper. It’s a showstopper, and built to impress even the most discerning of critics - as evidenced by its, not one but two, 97pt reviews.

Utterly seamless. Raspberry, red plum and gentle spice roll over the palate, wrapped in silky tannins and a savoury edge that lingers. It’s big and structured yet nuanced, with texture and tannin in all the right places. This is McLaren Vale shiraz at its most expressive, and so full of life. An absolute cracker.
Grown on certified organic and biodynamic vines in the foothills of Willunga, this 2021 Moonvine Shiraz is a wine of purity, balance, and quiet confidence. A cooler, wetter season gave the vines exactly what they needed, producing fruit with beautiful natural acidity and depth of flavour. The winemaking was fairly hands-off and gentle - as it tends to be in brilliant years like 2021 - open-top ferments, wild malolactic, and 12 months in seasoned French oak. No fining, no fluff, just honest winemaking from a great vintage. The result? A marvellously moreish McLaren Vale banger!

As an icon of Aussie wine, Angove brings over a century of expertise to this stunning shiraz, perfectly showcasing the distinctive style of the region. From the first glance at its deep ruby color, to the captivating aromas of dark berries and ripe plums, this wine promises a sensory adventure. On the palate, it delivers a robust blend of blackberry, plum, and subtle spice notes, wrapped in a full-bodied, velvety texture that defines the McLaren Vale experience. The region's signature minerality and nuanced oak undertones add a layer of sophistication, culminating in a smooth, persistent finish that lingers beautifully.

Deep purple and deeply delicious. This Langhorne Creek shiraz brings all the fruit and then some; dark berries, black cherries, floral spice and a lick of chocolate leap from the glass. On the palate, it’s plush and powerful, with that fruit that carries all the way through to a long, seamless finish. Balanced and bold, this is the kind of wine that just works - particularly with Italian food (thank us later).
