Why do we love this case?
Here's the deal, 11 great bottles of red, along with one heavy-hitting, exceptional drop to rule them all.
Get excited for a true BOSS - an exceptional shiraz worth $320 with an impressive double 96 point score and 4.3 Vivino rating- and 11 other awesome reds to keep you satisfied. This isn't like any other boss (unless you know a boss who overdelivers and is the life of the party). There’s no catch, just very good deals made in good faith with some of Australia’s best wineries. Keep this one on the down low, and enjoy the rewards that await you in the box.
1x Chateau Yaldara 1847 Grand Pappy's Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
We all know the Barossa, and likely this icon of a wine, but do we really know it’s history? Introducing to you pioneers of this famed region, with this winery established over 150 years ago. They show no mercy when it comes to staying true to the region: meaty, bold, and focused reds with a whole lot of character. You know what we’re talking about: eye-catching hues of purple, soft and silky tannins, and more plummy goodness than you can poke a stick at. There’s cherry and rhubarb sure, but we’re talking unapologetic notes of chocolate, toasty oak and handfuls of freshly cracked pepper. It’s a showstopper, and built to impress even the most discerning of critics - as evidenced by its, not one but two, 97pt reviews.
You’d pay $320 full price.

2x Watkins Cellar Reserve Langhorne Creek Shiraz 2017
Red — Shiraz
Langhorne Creek — Australia
The name Watkins might be new to some, but their contributions to the wine industry have pre-dated many. In fact, they’ve been making the wines for many big name South Australian wineries for decades. Walk into their cellar door right on the border of McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills, and you’ll never want to leave. You'll be captured with their cellar reserve wines, the way that the plush fruit balanced so well with the savoury edges. There is no occasion that this wine doesn’t fit. Luckily for us, the same applies to the company of the Watkins family themselves. Cheers to you, legends!

2x Farmer's Leap Dead Letter Office Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
Padthaway — Australia
Padthaway is known for creating wines that are genuinely a pleasure to drink, that's pretty much the perfect description of the Dead Letter Office. A true crowd-pleaser, this unmistakably Australian expression of shiraz has everything you'd expect from a producer of this quality. Full bodied, full flavoured with peppery notes, dark fruits and a roundness brought about by 15 months in 100% French oak barrels - this is a wine for sharing, and sharing confidently. A real people pleaser.
You’d pay $26 full price.

Tasting Notes
1x Vintage Longbottom H McLaren Vale Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
Classic McLaren Vale blueberry brightness. Juicy and ripe but with a cooler, more focused dark fruit profile. Mulberries, plums, violets abound - the aromatic profile is tightly bound to freshness and richness. A bit of tannic structure gives the wine length and a fullness on the palate, but it remains shapely and plush. A satisfying McLaren Vale shiraz that speaks loudly and proudly of the region.
You’d pay $28 full price.

Tasting Notes
2x Hollick Red Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
Estate fruit from the famed Hollick vineyards in Coonawarra, this is cab sauv like Aussies know and love. Certainly, a little bit of age behind this number has helped to fill out the mid palate, making it rich and dense with threads of fennel and mint throughout. It's very hard not to enjoy this wine- and we're speaking from experience.
You’d pay $35 full price.

2x Gapsted Limited Release Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
King Valley — Australia
Here we go again with another delicious drop from one of the most consistently consistent producers we work with. Everything in balance and such a nice drink. Fruit in the blackberry and plum spectrum, underlying spice and earthiness, a bit of drying tannin. One of those ‘don’t overthink it’ kinda wines, straight up tasty, enjoyable and ready to roll. Good thing you’ll have another bottle of the same ready to go as you’ll want to come back for more.
You’d pay $31 full price.

Tasting Notes
2x Aramis High Fidelity Sangiovese Cabernet 2017
Red — Red Blend
McLaren Vale — Australia
An Aussie take on the classic 'Super-Tuscan' wines of Italy's most famous wine region - Tuscany (obviously). This is a wine that has reached full maturity, it's done its time in the cellar, it's ready to go, and gee whiz, is it going! All the best aspects of sangiovese; sour cherry, bright acid and earthy notes, meet the structure and dark-fruited goodness of Australian cabernet. Oh and with a few years of age, there's that savoury, earthy, 'aged' feel, creating a complete and beautiful wine. In the words of Campbell Mattinson, "If you’re looking for a mature red that won’t break the bank, this fits the bill". That about sums it up, to be honest.
You’d pay $30 full price.
