1x Chateau Yaldara 1847 Grand Pappy's Shiraz 2019
Red — Shiraz
Barossa Valley — Australia
The Boss
We all know the Barossa, and likely this icon of a wine, but do we really know it’s history? Introducing to you pioneers of this famed region, with this winery established way back in 1847. They show no mercy when it comes to staying true to the region: meaty, bold, and focused reds with a whole lot of character. You know what we’re talking about: eye-catching hues of purple, soft and silky tannins, and more plummy goodness than you can poke a stick at. There’s cherry and rhubarb sure, but we’re talking unapologetic notes of chocolate, toasty oak and handfuls of freshly cracked pepper. It’s a showstopper, and built to impress even the most discerning of critics.
You’d pay $320 full price.

2x CW Wines Lustre Collection Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
Highly rated, high quality Coonawarra cab sav. It doesn’t need to be much more complicated than that. It’s concentrated on the palate with blackcurrant, plum, cedar box and a bit of gaminess. There’s a silkiness to the mouthfeel and super fine tannins to finish. If you’re into Coonawarra cab, then you know what you like. And we know you’ll like this.
You’d pay $60 full price.

1x Gapsted Ballerina Canopy Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
King Valley — Australia
This producer is an all-round King Valley favourite of ours. The wine is a wonderfully medium bodied drop with complexity from 17 months in a mix of American and French oak. It has all of the oak-derived structure, vanilla and chocolate you could want, whilst the cabernet sauvignon brings bramble, blackcurrants and hints of thyme and bay leaf. Pop the oven on and get that lamb roasting cause this wine is sure gonna need something to pair with.
You’d pay $31 full price.

Tasting Notes
2x Zilzie Regional Collection Shiraz 2020
Red — Shiraz
Barossa Valley — Australia
Solid Barossa shiraz- we know it's out there- but you tend to pay through the nose for a lot of it. Luckily, you've got us here to put our bodies on the line, taste through a lot of pretty average juice, and find the ones that we'd be happy to drink at the end of the day. That's what Zilzie do so well: quality and value. Plums and dark cherries abound and surround with a crunchy acidity, slippery tannins and a soft spiced finish. This may well sell out faster than the time it takes for you to finish reading this so without any further ado, y’know what to do!
You’d pay $22 full price.

2x Brand & Sons 'Coonawarra Bandits' Cabernet Shiraz 2020
Red — Cabernet Blend
Coonawarra — Australia
Coonawarra cabernet is a beauty of a thing on its own, but add a dash of shiraz in there and you kick the wine into rich, dense overdrive. There's no denying that Sam Brand knows the reigns of the wine game, you can guarantee high quality from every drop that carries the Brand & Sons name. This cab shiraz blend is a melting pot of blue and black fruits, with a kick of baking spice and coconut to give this the full satisfaction tick. A smattering of clove and licorice lingers on the finish, pleading for you to take another sip, or pour another glass. A winner of a wine.
You’d pay $30 full price.

2x Amelia Park Ironstone Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
Frankland River — Australia
This wine is, without doubt, one of the most popular we’ve ever seen at Vinomofo. How popular is popular, you ask? Well, thirsty mofos took over 30,000 bottles of a previous vintage straight out of our hands. Yup. We know it’s a great wine deal but when our mofo members are this unanimous in their desire for this drop; well it’s simply cause for one big shiraz gluggin’ celebration.
Full bodied and silky smooth with lashings of plums and earthy spice; if you’re quaffing this Frankland River gem on a week night, know you’re in good company alongside many a mofo. With one fist in the air (and the other holding a glass of this wine) we salute you!
You’d pay $33 full price.

2x Mount Avoca Daly's Cottage Shiraz 2019
Red — Shiraz
Pyrenees — Australia
Big and bold - shiraz that tends to amble around the glass. Plummy and plush, this is really packing a bit of oomph. Bright cherry red with magenta highlights with good intensity and slow legs on the swirl. Delightful plum, raspberry and blackberry aromas with hints of cocoa, nutmeg and a supporting background of sweet toasty black pepper.
Sourced from a selection of premium Victorian Shiraz vineyards. Traditional winemaking applied throughout.
You’d pay $29 full price.
