Why do we love this case?

Every case contains the same wicked white and Rosé wines, including some of our absolute faves here at the ‘fo. They’re all delightfully delicious. All mofo standard - i.e. nothing we haven’t enjoyed ourselves.

Then there’s the added excitement of a chance at your sixth wine being one of these iconic world-beating bubbles!

An iconic Dom Perignon Champagne 2012 worth $380- (1 in 100)
Guy Larmandier Cuvée Perlée Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Champagne NV worth $180 - (1 in 25)
Nicolas Maillart Brut Rosé Grand Cru NV worth $150 - (1 in 10)
Taltarni Taché Sparkling Rosé 2015 worth $28 (at a minimum!)

We should say up front: there are no returns on this - click here for case terms and conditions. As it’s a Lucky Dip, it would be unfair to other mofos running in the draw.

The easiest way to guarantee yourself a bottle of one of these Champagnes is to go out and buy one for yourself. If you, like me, don’t have $380 handy, this is definitely your best (and cheapest) option! Heard enough already? Pop that case in the cart and cross your fingers and toes! Otherwise, read on for a bit more info on all those lovely wines.

1x Kilikanoon Golden Hillside Riesling 2022

White — Riesling

Clare Valley — Australia

The riesling from the Hillside is nothing short of heavenly, and the price suggests some sort of divine intervention. Plus, however high the vineyards of Clare Valley can get, surely those planted on celestial slopes are more so. How else would you get such an otherworldly balance of drool-worthy lime and sunshine-soaked lemons, refreshing minerality and cloudlike complexity? The bottle definitely says Clare Valley though.

You’d pay $30 full price.

1x Ulithorne Epoch Rosé 2022

Rosé

McLaren Vale — Australia

This 100% mourvèdre rosé is specifically sourced from Blewitt Springs, a highly sought after sub-region of McLaren Vale renowned for high quality fruit. Lees stirring in older french oak barrels throughout the cool fermentation brings added complexity and a depth of flavour which is a constant in every wine from the Mofo fave producer Ulithorne. Look out for fresh herbaceous notes on the bouquet, gorgeous redcurrant and fresh strawberries over the palate, and a long, lively finish.

You’d pay $50 full price.

1x Bortolomiol Miòl Prosecco DOC Treviso Extra Dry 2022

Sparkling — Prosecco

Prosecco DOC — Italy

The days of ‘I’ll just have a Prosecco’ are in the past. There’s some seriously complex (and yes, still delicious and refreshing) bubbles coming out of the famous Northern Italian region. Bortolomiol are a family affair with a focus on creating world class sparkling wines in a sustainable manner. What they are doing is so impressive, they were included in a Prosecco masterclass at Vue de Monde hosted by none other than Tyson Stelzer, Australia’s top sparkling wine critic. So forget what you know about Prosecco and get on board with the new wave of exceptionalism. Miòl is an extra dry cuvée made from glera (the traditional Prosecco grape) blended with chardonnay and verdiso. Yields are quite small for Prosecco, leading to great concentration and precision in the wine. The bead is quite fine, the aromatics vivid and citrusy, and the palate even has a savoury touch to go along with stunning minerality and a cleansing finish.

You’d pay $45 full price.

1x Paul Nelson De Taillevent Arneis 2023

White — Arneis

Great Southern — Australia

Arneis is so well suited to the Australian palate, it's a pity we don't see more of it. This is peachy, honeyed, nutty, and with a softer, broader acidity that provides freshness but doesn't overwhelm the wine. This is medium bodied pushing into full; there is distinct fruit weight that is satisfying on the palate. The appeal of arneis, for me, is it's ability to slip into any moment, sit with any meal, and please any punter - it is a tried and true crowd pleaser, and we love it for that.

You’d pay $29 full price.

1x Eminence Novella Rosé 2022

Rosé

Whitlands — Australia

When it comes to rosé, this is right in the sweet spot - and by 'sweet spot' I mean bone dry. Fresh strawberries and cream overlap summer raspberries and delicate rose petal nuance. Juicy, pulpy red fruits flanked by scintillating, zippy acidity. When it comes to summer drinking and balmy, lazy evenings, this is everything and more that we could ask for.

You’d pay $35 full price.
