Why do we love this case?
Big names, bold flavour, and a price that doesn’t quite make sense. The Six Shiraz, $99 case brings together a lineup of seriously good Australian Shiraz — from the rich McLaren Vale power of Pertaringa and Pirramimma, to Barossa favourites like Turkey Flat and St Hallett, plus standout bottles from Cape Barren and Sorby Adams.
With RRPs stacking up well north of the case price, this is the kind of deal Shiraz lovers wait for. Expect plush dark fruit, spice, smooth tannins and plenty of personality across the lineup.
Six bottles. Ninety-nine bucks. No brainer.

1x Pertaringa 'Belonging to the Hills' Shiraz 2023
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
An instant staple of the cellar. This one is completely irresistible. A normal afternoon tasting at the Mofo tasting bench was quickly interrupted when this wine was poured. Suddenly, all attention was caught, and the moment savoured. Bec Hardy, you've done it again. The Pertaringa name is no stranger to the Aussie household. The iconic Hardy family are to wine what vegemite is to toast: a perfect match. So, to land this beauty from the hands of Bec Hardy is monumental for us, and we couldn't be more pleased. This is McLaren Shiraz through and through, with densely packed dark chocolate and fresh roasted coffee exploding on the nose. The palate follows through just as true, layered with preserved plums, dark forest berries and a lick of vanillin softness. There's one word for this wine, and it's awesome.

1x Pirramimma Heritage Shiraz 2023
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
If you don’t know by now, we think it’s time for you to loop yourself in. The Pirramimma Limited Edition Shiraz comes from the fruit out of the famous “War Horse” and “Ironstone” blocks. The vines are old and what they lack in quantity (yield), they make up for in superb quality. Full bodied, but balanced with pepper and spice, there are just so many layers to discover in this wine. Laden with luscious, ripe blackberries, earthy blackcurrants, mocha, hints of cedar and a dollop of liquorice, you’re in for a treat with this divine, velvety red.

1x Turkey Flat Vineyards Butcher's Block Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
We can’t splash the producer’s name all over the page… but let’s just say you’re dealing with one of the Barossa’s most famous estates. In other words, you're in good hands here. This shiraz is a fresher take on the region - still generous, still unmistakably Barossa, just with the brightness and spice dialled up a touch. The kind of wine that still brings the power but you don't need a knife and fork to consume it. Wonderfully vibrant. The palate is plush but not heavy. Juicy dark berries roll through first, backed by pepper, dried herbs and a subtle ironstone edge that keeps things interesting. A small portion of whole bunch brings extra lift and structure, while older oak lets the fruit stay front and centre. Tannins are fine and neatly shaped, carrying the flavour out to a tidy, satisfying finish. It’s modern, it’s vibrant, and it’s built to be enjoyed now - preferably with something sizzling on the grill. From a heavyweight Barossa name. At a price that makes it very easy to say yes.
You’d pay $27 full price.

1x St Hallett Faith Shiraz 2024
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
This is the kind of wine that the Barossa was built to produce - generous, confident and immediately likeable. The St Hallett Faith Shiraz isn’t trying to reinvent the wheel, it’s here for a glass or two of ripe, juicy shiraz that tastes exactly how you hope it will. Anytime, anywhere. Plum, blackberry and mulberry, with hints of toast, spice and a little earthy grit keeping things interesting. The palate is plush and smooth, full without feeling sluggish, and finished with a gentle grip of tannin that pulls everything neatly into line. It’s sweet-fruited, nicely weighted and very easy to keep drinking. Call it dependable if you like, we call it delicious. This is the kind of Barossa shiraz that works on a weeknight, at a barbecue, or when you just want something comforting and full of flavour. No overthinking required - just twist, pour and enjoy.
You’d pay $24 full price.
