In Australia, shiraz is a national obsession. We are the only place on earth with such a sole focus on on the varietal. To that end, when it comes to making the stuff, we're world beaters.

2x Devitt & Moore Sunderland Shiraz 2020
Red — Shiraz
Limestone Coast — Australia
South Aussie shiraz: it's known the world over for a reason. Rich, decadent, chocolatey and oh so more-ish. From the famed clay soils of the Coonawarra comes this luscious shiraz that is all about personality. A little bit spicy, chewy tannins and a supple fruit driven body. It's hard to pick out anything that is not to like about this belter of a wine, it's all about pure enjoyment.
You’d pay $36 full price.

2x Ulithorne Familia Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
McLaren Vale shiraz, yes, but lithe and vibrant. A more medium-bodied feel leaves room for the lively fruit flavours to sing, unshackled from big, beefy, old-school styles. Classic brambly goodness skates on a fresh sheet of acidity, with just enough grippy tannin to keep it grounded. Miraculously food-friendly, there’s all the ingredients here for an infamous dinner party red. The kind you and your mates are liable to enjoy a wee bit too much of an evening.
Three previous vintages of this wine garnered an applause-worthy 95 points from Mr. Halliday himself. We got in quick with the release of this vintage, but expect similar accolades to be awarded soon enough.
You’d pay $40 full price.

2x Starling Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
Barossa Valley — Australia
Like a good book, wine is not all about what’s on the cover. But we have to say, when you’re getting great vino in some super sleek packaging, it’s a big bonus. This is the Barossa classic with a modern edge. Fruit-driven and rich, it hits every corner of your palate with pleasing intensity. The oak-imparted tannins make for a ripper time with some charred meat or veg, perfect for that easy weeknight in.
You’d pay $35 full price.

2x Penley Estate Erin Grace Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
Coonawarra — Australia
Shortlisted for Halliday's 2024 Winery of the Year. WINNER of Halliday's 2024 Winemaker of the Year. Penley are one of our most popular partners, and there's no guessing why people keep coming back for more - the wines routinely over deliver. This is, of course, no exception. A deep, moody fruit profile with black currant and bramble aplenty. The tannin offers structure and presence in the mouth. Perfectly composed, though we would expect nothing less from Australia's foremost vigneron.
You’d pay $25 full price.
