2x Metricup Hills Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2025
White — Sauvignon Blanc
Margaret River — Barossa
A wonderful example of why Margaret River's undercover hero - sauvignon blanc - can hold its own with the best in the country: dry, tropical, grassy and wildly refreshing. When we stick our hands in an esky, we're always hoping they come out holding a bottle of this. Here's our breakdown of this summer delight: The nose is all about fresh tropical fruit, peach and lemon bringing those warm-weather vibes. Bright, inviting, and exactly what you want to smell after (or during) a long day in the sun. The palate delivers crisp, concentrated lemon and lime with a refreshingly crunchy green apple acidity that provides proper balance and length. It's zippy without being sharp, refreshing without being boring, and the kind of wine that disappears from the bottle faster than you planned - it's just so damn easy to drink.
You’d pay $32 full price.

2x Harvest Moon Sauvignon Blanc 2024
White — Sauvignon Blanc
King Valley — Barossa
Sometimes you don't need a wine that's trying to prove something. Sometimes you just want a bloody good sauvignon blanc that tastes delicious and doesn't require a degree in winemaking to enjoy. That's exactly what these mates set out to make, and they've absolutely smashed it. Brilliantly light and bright in the glass, with just a hint of those classic tropical vibes dancing around on the nose. This is King Valley fruit doing its thing without any unnecessary bells and/or whistles - beautifully clean, controlled, and totally crowd-pleasing. The cooler ripening season worked its magic here, letting all those savoury characters build up slowly and show up with a bit of restraint instead of screaming for attention. They've chucked some pressings back into the free run juice to pump up the flavour without losing that fresh, zingy mouthfeel that makes sauvignon blanc so damn drinkable. Completely delicious.

2x Boat O'Craigo Black Spur Sauvignon Blanc 2023

Yarra Valley — Barossa
People often forget that the Yarra Valley has some of the best cool-climate growing conditions in the country. This sauv blanc is representative of this in the best possible way. Fresh, crisp, dry and built to be enjoyed in any way that you deem fit. There's only one word this wine - invigorating. Bottled early to capture freshness at its peak - this isn't sauvignon blanc built for extended aging, it's crafted to deliver maximum immediate pleasure while fruit vibrancy remains at full intensity. Subtle mandarin, fresh gooseberry and tropical notes announce themselves clearly on the nose. The palate delivers characteristic citrus brightness alongside passionfruit hints and a gorgeous minerality threading through, finishing with zesty crispness that leaves your palate refreshed and ready for more... and more... and maybe more after that.

2x Thompson Estate Four Chambers Sauvignon Blanc 2024
White — Sauvignon Blanc
Margaret River — Barossa
This stunningly refreshing sauv blanc is a drinker, not a thinker. Built for sunshine, good company, and zero pretension. And you know what, at this price, why the hell not?! Get in the esky, get it to a park, beach or local footy game and you are absolutely on! Pale green colour with brilliant clarity looks gorgeous poured into glasses (or paper cups) at outdoor gatherings. The aromatics burst with vibrant floral-fruity characters - lychee meets that gooseberry freshness, backed by grassiness, nectarine and lemon curd. A touch of spice adds extra dimension without turning the wine into a homework assignment. The palate delivers concentrated gooseberry and lychee alongside mandarin rind and subtle apricot, all sitting pretty thanks to a beautiful hit of seamless natural acid keeping everything bright and lively. Elegant structure with all those savvy b flavours that linger beautifully, providing length and purity without demanding contemplation. Drink it. Just drink it. It's so yummy - you're gonna love it.
You’d pay $27 full price.

Alpine & King Valleys — Barossa
From the cool, elevated slopes of Victoria’s King Valley comes a white that captures the region’s signature freshness. Light green in the glass, it opens with a bouquet of lime and lemon blossom before ripe gooseberry and subtle herbaceous notes take centre stage. The palate is crisp and lively, with that hallmark sorbet-like natural acidity bringing balance and lift to the ripe fruit. It’s the kind of wine that’s equally at home poolside, at a long lunch, or alongside fresh seafood and summer salads. A bright, zesty taste of King Valley cool-climate charm.

2x Lake Road Sauvignon Blanc 2023
White — Sauvignon Blanc
Marlborough — New Zealand
You know that feeling when you crack open a bottle and suddenly the whole room just smells like summer? That’s this wine. Bursting with all the good stuff you'd expect - passionfruit, lime zest, and tropical juiciness — it’s Marlborough sauvignon blanc doing exactly what it does best: it's refreshing, it's dry, it's crisp, and frankly, it's a bit of a show off. Pale lemon in the glass and seriously aromatic, it’s like a fruit salad with attitude. Passionfruit, rockmelon, grapefruit, and a cheeky twist of lime leaf - all backed by that zingy, refreshing acidity that makes you go straight back for another sip. There’s even a hint of herbs and ginger in there if you’re paying attention (but no homework required here, this one’s all about fun). Throw it in the fridge, chuck it in the esky, and take it anywhere there’s sunshine, seafood, or mates. It’s not pretending to be fancy - it just kinda is. Oh, and it’s just bloody delicious!
You’d pay $25 full price.
