Why do we love this case?
There’s a reason sav blanc has taken the world by storm. For crisp and refreshing, but also massively flavoursome drinking, it’s just about the best grape for the job.
Ok, there’s room for everyone at the ‘fo, but this savvy lineup is made with devotees in mind. From clean minerality to passionfruit punch, there’s the whole spectrum of savvy styles to savour. Plus, with two bottles of each wine, you get double the good times.
2x Eva Pemper Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2022
White — Sauvignon Blanc
Marlborough — New Zealand
We often refer to this in the Mofo office as the 'people's choice' of Marlborough SB - it garners glowing review after glowing review (and a serious amount of re-orders over various vintages). Stylish yet classic, this has all the hallmarks of what makes Marlborough, well, Marlborough. Dare we say tropical fruits? Refreshing lemon curd acidity? Intense aromatics that you want to wear as well as drink? It’s all packed in here, and at such a neat little price. Someone’s gotta say it: it’s nearly too good to be true.
You’d pay $27 full price.

2x Beklyn Sauvignon Blanc 2023
White — Sauvignon Blanc
Currency Creek — Australia
This is fumé, which means that it sees a bit of oak influence. That time in timber adds a layer of complexity to the wine. This has an abundance of fruit: passionfruit, guava, and lychee with kiwi fruit acidity. Fumé SB has gone from an emerging style in the Aussie market to a fully fledged stayer, so expect to see more of it on the shelves at your local (and your favourite online retailer, too).
You’d pay $30 full price.

2x Reschke R-Series Sauvignon Blanc 2024
White — Sauvignon Blanc
Limestone Coast — Australia
No frills, no fuss, spring is here and you are on the hunt for the wine of your summer. Look no further than this cracking savvy b from the Limestone Coast that's fresher than the ocean breezes cooling this region down. Aromatic like a spring garden and bursting with elegant flavour. It's also easy on the pocket. It just fits so many purposes; mid-week cheeky, Friday knock-off, Saturday DnMs on the back deck. Sunday BBQ. You can't go wrong. And hey, if you wanna put ice in your glass — go head — this is a safe space. We won't tell.
You’d pay $22 full price.

2x Drop Zone Sauvignon Blanc 2022
White — Sauvignon Blanc
Langhorne Creek — Australia
Spring is here so crack open the sauv and celebrate! This little Langhorne Creek number is crisp, dry and refreshingly juicy. Super varietal, there is a veritable platter of balanced tropical fruit, lifted by lively citrus and subtle green notes of cut grass and dried herb. The finish is long and will have you salivating for another sip before you know it. Pair this with a spring greens risotto or goat's cheese and you've got yourself a match made in heaven.
You’d pay $22 full price.

2x Elysian Springs Pennies From Heaven Sauvignon Blanc 2024
White — Sauvignon Blanc
Adelaide Hills — Australia
What sets Adelaide Hills sauv blanc apart from the rest in Australia is its trademark texture and tension. It doesn’t lean too far into NZ fruit-bomb territory, nor does it fall in the realm of citrus city. Leading the charge here is pithy grapefruit freshness, with a supporting cast of guava, green pineapple, lime and a hint of fresh hay. Sounds fresh doesn’t it? Are you salivating yet?
You’d pay $30 full price.

2x Twin Valleys Sauvignon Blanc 2024
White — Sauvignon Blanc
King Valley — Australia
Excellent sauv blanc is being produced in the King Valley. Who knew? Well, Twin Valleys did. It makes sense that an area with bright, crisp pinot grigio can do the same with savvy b. This one is all tropical fruit and gooseberries, backed by a softer acidity. In layperson’s terms, that means it makes for some easy drinking. So let Twin Valleys do all the hard work in growing the grapes and making the wine. Then, you relax and pour yourself a glass (or two).
You’d pay $30 full price.
