The sun’s out, you’re relaxing in the arvo and wanting a sip of something to surprise and delight the senses, all the while keeping things cool, crisp and refreshing. Trust us on this one. Lively riesling doesn’t get much better than this. Super fresh and friendly, with the perfect balance of floral and fruit. This rizza’ even has a little texture to it. No need to overcomplicate life. Simply chill this down and chill out with a superb choice.

Another year and another glorious vintage of one or our absolute favourites. We are still wondering if this “Golden Hillside” is an actual place, or a mythical place of the gods. The riesling from the Hillside is nothing short of heavenly, and the price suggests some sort of divine intervention. Plus, however high the vineyards of Clare Valley can get, surely those planted on celestial slopes are more so. How else would you get such an otherworldly balance of drool-worthy lime and sunshine-soaked lemons, refreshing minerality and cloudlike complexity? The bottle definitely says Clare Valley though.

The winemaker behind this riesling has experience running the show at the crème de la crème of Victoria’s best wineries (and numerous stints in France). This riesling is an intense yet pure expression of place from 40+ year-old vines. Leaping with floral aromatics, think ginger and jasmine, with a crunchy apple flavour fleshing out into the riper pineapple spectrum. The acidity is mouthwatering but offers a perfectly balanced riesling frame - the basis for subtle yet persistent flavours. Pure perfection.

Reading reviews of this wine, it’s plain to see it has captivated many hearts. The abundant layers of lemon-lime, white jasmine and honeysuckle florals entice you in a wash of slate and saline pebbles. In classic Clare Valley riesling style, the first couple of years displayed a wine of supercharged lime cordial, and is now unfurling its layers like a flower in full, beautiful bloom. I mean, just look at those scores. Sounds like we’re not the only ones in awe of this drop.
