2x Flint River Vineyard Polish Hill Riesling 2024
White — Riesling
Clare Valley — Australia
Polish Hill proves, yet again, that it produces the most age-worthy riesling in the country (if not the world). The nose is alive with green apple, jasmine florals and zesty lime, with a flinty mineral edge that sets the tone. On the palate, it’s taut and vibrant – layers of kaffir lime, citrus rind and Granny Smith apple carried on a cool, slatey minerality. Clare Valley riesling, firing on all cylinders.

2x Ben Murray Wines Riesling 2024
White — Riesling
Eden Valley — Australia
Taking into account the climate and soil-profile of the Eden Valley, there's a few characteristics that come naturally to this wine, the minerality, the limey flavours and the zippy acid. Here's where the viticulture and winemaking come into it - concentration. That's what puts this wine ahead of its peers, it's just completely crammed full of flavour, in every single drop. We adore these types rieslings - so flavourful and yet so light and zippy - it almost confuses your taste buds. We choose not to be confused, not to over-think, we choose to sit, sip and appreciate what is a fantastic expression of Eden Valley riz.

Tasting Notes
2x Pauletts Clare Valley Riesling 2024
White — Riesling
Clare Valley — Australia
Clare Valley riesling proves, again, that it's one of the best 'bang for your buck' wines in the world, yep, seriously. Packed full of distinctive regional qualities: lemon-lime cordial, orange blossom, zippy acidity and that slaty mineral note we all know and love - this is an absolute winner. Right in the sweet spot. On the spectrum of Clare riz, this sits bang in the middle, 'the goldilocks zone', so to speak. The acid is prevalent, but not too austere. The fruit is developed, but not overly rich. The mineral aspects are refreshing, but not spritzy. It's the kind of wine you can show to anyone, but far from boring. A fresh, dry and completely delicious bottle of rizza that'll have you reaching for another glass quicker than you think. A little dangerous in that regard. Drink now or have a look in 5 years.
You’d pay $28 full price.
