Why do we love this case?

Looking for something fun and a little different? These reds have got you covered. Think bold flavours, smooth textures, and just the right amount of adventure in every glass.

From juicy, fruit-forward drops to structured, spicy stunners, this mix is all about discovering new favourites and revisiting a few classics along the way. Whether it’s dinner with mates, a night in, or just because — there’s a red in here for every mood.

Included in this case:

1x Quin Wines Barossa Valley Grenache 2018

Red — Grenache

Barossa — Barossa

Superb fruit purity and concentration jump out with cranberry and cherry aromas, backed by touches of earth and spice that add complexity. Then it hits the palate and things go up another gear - dry, full-bodied, youthful and expressive, but also quite firm with brooding, savoury fruits. Spice and herbs mingle with wonderful tannins that let you know this wine's got structure and staying power. This is built to last. Fruit power combined with structural tannins mean this really will continue to show what it's capable of for many years to come. One for the cellar if you've got the willpower or drink it now if you can't help yourself - but honestly, with a couple of years on it already, this one's absolute singing right now.

You’d pay $75 full price.

1x Bric Cenciurio Barbera d'Alba 2024

Red — Barbera

Piedmont — Italy

Rich and full-bodied, with that lively, juicy acidity barbera's famous for - it's what makes the variety so damn food-friendly. Vibrant acidity balances out ripe fruit flavours of blackberries and cherries, while subtle oak integration brings roundness and complexity without taking over the show. Soft, chalky tannins provide structure, leading to a long finish with a touch of warmth that's pleasantly fruity and beautifully balanced. The winemaking here is smart and considered - grapes gently crushed a few hours after hand-picking, seven days of maceration before the skins are removed to emphasise that fruity character, then six months aging with 80% in stainless steel and concrete, 20% in oak. We love this wine.

You’d pay $55 full price.

1x Ben Murray Wines Estate Mataro 2023

Red — Mataro

Barossa — Barossa

This is Barossa mataro with serious presence. Dark, savoury and built with purpose, it comes from one of the best Barossa sites and a producer we keep backing because they just don’t stop making fantastic wines. If you know Barossa, you know mataro thrives here - and this is a cracking example. Depth, power and concentration without tipping into brute force. This one's all about dark berry fruit, savoury spice and earthy grit, with that unmistakable Barossa confidence running through the middle.

1x Craneford Tribeca GSM 2023

Bright red and dark berries shape the palate, lifted by a ripple of spice and the natural generosity of the varieties. The fruit sits plush and mouthfilling, but the structure stays firm enough to keep everything in line. Soft tannins and a gentle warmth round it out, giving the wine an easy sense of flow. Bold, balanced and thoroughly crowd pleasing, it hits the sweet spot between richness and drinkability.

1x Churchview Estate Limited Release Cabernet Blend 2023

Red — Cabernet Blend

Margaret River — Barossa

From the first swirl you get a pretty clear hint that you’re about to get cosy with something seriously delicious. All those beautiful Margaret River notes absolute leap out of the glass and the palate certainly delivers what the nose promises! We love a blend like this - not one made out of necessity, rather out of desire. Super limited edition... you'll have to be quick! Vibrant blue fruits jump from the glass, rolling into juicy black plums, ripe blackberries and a little whisper of cacao. It’s plush, expressive and downright inviting. Take a sip and the whole thing unfolds beautifully. Those dark berry characters settle into a juicy core of plums and forest fruits, layered with dark chocolate, mocha and a sprinkle of baking spice. Everything’s wrapped up in silky tannins that glide along and give the wine its elegant shape and long, satisfying finish. Smooth, structured and effortlessly classy - it’s Margaret River cab blends done right!

You’d pay $38 full price.

1x Mazi Minnie's Blend Chilled Red

Red — Grenache Blend

McLaren Vale — Barossa

Here's something a bit different - a delicate yet full-flavoured light dry red made from the exact same grapes that go into those gorgeous rosés you love. Think of it as rosé's cooler, more sophisticated older sibling. They've grabbed the most concentrated bits of rosé juice and left it chilling on skins for roughly 48 hours before pressing it off. Then comes partial barrel fermentation and about six months lounging in old French oak casks, just enough time to add texture without going too heavy-handed with the wood. What you end up with is a tight yet beautifully rounded palate absolutely loaded with everything that makes McLaren Vale grenache, mataro and cinsault so bloody good. Asian spice, red cherry, cranberry, musk and violet all showing up to the party - this is a wine for all seasons.

You’d pay $30 full price.
