1x Château Laronde Desormes Bordeaux Supérieur 2014
Red — Cabernet Blend
Bordeaux — France
Left bank Bordeaux is some of the best wine in the world. That's no overstatement, and we doubt anyone would dispute this fact. The problem with these wines is that they need time to settle into themselves and really show their true colours, also, they're usually very, very, very expensive. You guessed it, that's where we come in! We've done the aging for you, this wasn't a forgotten about wine that's been sitting in the back of a truck for 10 years - this is carefully, professionally aged Bordeaux, we've even taken care of the price for you. All you have to do is pop the cork and let yourself be transported to the old world.
You’d pay $55 full price.

1x Château du Moulin Noir Saint-Émilion 2011
Red — Merlot Blend
Bordeaux — France
There's two undeniable truths about right bank Bordeaux; first and foremost, it's completely brilliant, but, normally, you have to dish out the big bucks to get your hands on the good stuff. Well, that's where we come in, call it luck, call it fate, call it whatever you want, but the reality is that this wine is everything you'd expect from a premium, highly awarded, professionally-aged Bordeaux, for fraction of the price.
This premium drop was built to impress and built to last. And gee whiz, it's met the brief. Still bursting with lifted aromatics of blackcurrant and violet, it’s now developing those savoury notes we all love: think tobacco, leather, a touch of spice and that silky, sleek 'Bordeaux-ness' that you can't quite put your finger on. There structure is firm, the finish long, and the potential? Huge. After paying its debt to the wine gods in the cellar (for 14 years), it’s drinking impeccably right now, but this stunner's journey is far from over... honestly this is the type of wine that will outlast your patience. A proper head-turner.

1x Bois Royal Bordeaux 2020
Red — Merlot Blend
Bordeaux — France
Rich and generous with fruit overflowing. A distinctly abundant merlot dominant blend. Flashes of blue fruit - berries and plums - flank dark brooding bramble and blackcurrant. This is a fruit-forward powerhouse of a wine with plushness at its core. It errs on the side of ‘easy going’ for Bordeaux, which can at times present a little rigid and stuffy. Some cigar box and spice shines through at the end, accenting the finish with a savoury seriousness. A prime example of what the right-bank of Bordeaux has on offer.
You’d pay $40 full price.

1x Sarl Du Grand Bourry Chevalier Delaude SGM 2022
Red — Shiraz Blend
Languedoc-Roussillon — France
60% shiraz, 30% grenache, 10% mourvedre - a traditional French blend but one that will be very familiar to most Australian wine drinkers. Dark fruited, with the dominant fruit being blackberry, dark cherry and blueberry, the silky smooth mouthfeel and lush richness build a surprisingly weighty palate and lengthy finish. The secret to this wine, as with may other French imports, is the structure. Velvety tannins, well-integrated oak and gorgeous natural acid push and pull the palate in unison and create a complexity that amplifies the pristine fruit. Well made wine, drinking beautifully.
You’d pay $40 full price.

1x Domaine De Ferrand Mistral Grenache Blend 2023
Red — Grenache Blend
Côtes du Rhône — France
This is Côtes du Rhône, levelled up a notch (or twelve). Sourced from just outside the borders of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, this wine represents completely outstanding value. A real 'for those in the know' kind of wine, the Mistral is one outrageously good value bottle of wine. From the legendary hands of one of the region's best, this grenache dominant blend (80%) is consistently used as a benchmark around the Mofo office for what great CDR (Côtes du Rhône) can and should represent. Only cement and stainless steel are used for ageing, allowing the purity and complexity of the fruit to shine through. The resulting wine is so very vibrant, satisfyingly spicy, and showcases a spectrum of blackberry and raspberry flavours. Dive in, this is completely delicious.
You’d pay $35 full price.
