We’ve decided to stick with the classic ‘Dangerous Value Whites’ as it describes it oh so well - the real danger with this delicious mixed dozen is that you’ll be sorry you didn’t buy more. There’s a cheeky bottle every occasion. Don’t let me keep you a second longer, mofo!
2x Twin Valleys Pinot Grigio 2024
White — Pinot Grigio
King Valley — Australia
Italy’s leading grape varieties have an established home in the King Valley, including the ever-popular pinot grigio. This example of the grape is bright with citrus and pear on the nose and freshness from the nose to the palate with a crisp, mineral finish. When given more time to develop in the glass, the wine shares a greater depth to its expression. Ripe red apple, nashi pear, and hints of sherbet on the nose. From a weekend BBQ to a plate of spaghetti marinara over candlelight, it’s a flexible food wine that is sure to please.
You’d pay $30 full price.

2x Common Ground Sauvignon Blanc 2022
White — Sauvignon Blanc
Limestone Coast — Australia
Coonawarra might be known for age-worthy reds, but it is criminally overlooked when it comes to spritely whites such like this. Why do we think Coonawarra whites are underrated? Because with all that even growing temperature and well-documented terroir, whites such as sauvignon blanc show not only typicity, but vibrant acidity, and a restrained, sophisticated edge. Leaning on the edge of tropical with green pineapple, green apple, feijoa and lime pith - this is as fresh and unique as they come. The type of wine that turns a BBQ into a party.
You’d pay $25 full price.

2x Stonehaven Wines Stepping Stone Pinot Gris 2024
White — Pinot Gris
Limestone Coast — Australia
Made for good times and sunny afternoons, this gorgeous gris is ready to enjoy now or over the next couple of years. The perfect pour for your next BBQ, risotto or casual catch-up with mates. Chill it down, chill out and let the good times flow. Punchy and fruit-forward, this wine is bursting with vibrant, sun-ripened flavours of juicy melon, crisp green apple, and a beautifully floral lift of honeysuckle. There’s an inviting brightness right from the first sip, with that fresh fruit character leaping from the glass and making an immediate impression. On the palate, it’s lush and rounded, with a soft, rounded texture that gives it real presence and drinkability. But just as it starts to feel rich, a clean line of acidity cuts through, bringing balance and a refreshing snap that keeps everything light on its feet. That interplay of ripe fruit and bright acid makes it a total crowd-pleaser - easy to love, even easier to drink.

2x Windowrie Estate Pig in the House Picpoul Blanc 2023
White — Other White
Central Ranges — Australia
Aromatic, delicate and wholly pleasing. A fantastic accompaniment for oysters, prawns or any other seafood you can think of! If you love gris/grigio, sauv blanc or albarino, this is right in your wheelhouse.
Bright but delicate aromatics of pear, apple and zesty lime set up a subtly structured palate with refreshing acidity and a soft, lingering finish. Looking to try something new without completely leaving your comfort zone? This is the one. Although unique in its elegance and subtlety, there's plenty of familiar flavours for the Australian palate on offer, zesty, refreshing, citrusy and slightly tropical. A complete and interesting table-white and, as the producer says, "this wine is a great accompaniment to oysters, seafood in general, and sunny afternoons".
You’d pay $28 full price.

2x Reschke R-Series Riesling 2023
White — Riesling
Limestone Coast — Australia
Young, bright, and fresh as a daisy. This rizza is full of blossoms and citrus, a nervy line of acid and beautiful texture. Reschke are known for their long-lived red wines, and that applies just as much to their pristinely crafted whites. I mean, you don't get a 96pt score for nothing. Whether you drink this beauty now or hold it for a couple of years, it's a pleaser for sure.
You’d pay $20 full price.

2x Churchview Silverleaf Chenin Blanc 2024
White — Chenin Blanc
Australia — Australia
Vibrant, regional and very pronounced, this is completely typical of modern Margaret River chenin blanc. This is absolutely bursting with tropical fruit, think pineapple, passionfruit, even guava, but instead of a flabby, oily texture, we have a bright line of natural acid that gives the whole thing a bit of zing and puts a right good pep in your step. A wonderful example of modern, easy-drinking chenin.
You’d pay $18 full price.
