We could call this wonderful pack of white wines many things, but above all it is dangerous. Dangerously good, dangerously valued, dangerously addictive. You've been warned.

2x Eight at the Gate Single Vineyard Chardonnay 2021
White — Chardonnay
Wrattonbully — Australia
Based in Wrattonbully, Jane and Claire of Eight at the Gate are known for crafting phenomenal chardonnay. Every vintage, their wines sell faster than we can blink, so we were lucky to get our hands on this awesome wine. A classic example of a wine that overdelivers, this chardy is rounded with yellow peach, nutmeg and preserved lemon notes. A perfect foil for a spring afternoon, or a roast chicken dinner.

2x Claymore God is a DJ Riesling 2022
White — Riesling
Clare Valley — Australia
We’d like to welcome another vintage of one of our Clare Valley favourites. When it comes to the legendary producer Claymore, I always think - come for the reds, and stay for the riesling. They have a few rieslings in their collection, all excellent examples of what Clare Valley does best. God is a DJ is their weeknight rizza and it gets more serious as you move up the range. It’s floral and sherberty on the nose with a few funky notes too. It follows with a dry and textural palate that is pithy and citric - vibrant and classic. It has a super-dry finish and my notes say “it’s pretty bloody delicious”.

2x Black Cocky Viognier 2021
White — Viognier
Margaret River — Australia
We know one of the best regions in Australia for complex, textural white wines is in the West Coast. So, when we were presented with this Margaret River viognier, we had to give it a go. Handpicked, macerated on skins and barrel fermented: this is a true textural lover's delight. Tropical aromas of green pineapple, honeydew melon, tangerine and green tea are plentiful, and the zippy citrus finish guarantees a fresh palate ready for the next sip.
You’d pay $27 full price.

2x Twin Valleys Pinot Grigio 2023
White — Pinot Grigio
King Valley — Australia
Italy’s leading grape varieties have an established home in the King Valley, including the ever-popular pinot grigio. This example of the grape is bright with citrus and pear on the nose and freshness from the nose to the palate with a crisp, mineral finish. When given more time to develop in the glass, the wine shares a greater depth to its expression. Ripe red apple, nashi pear, and hints of sherbet on the nose. From a weekend BBQ to a plate of spaghetti marinara over candlelight, it’s a flexible food wine that is sure to please.
You’d pay $25 full price.

2x Fox Gordon Sassy Sauvignon Blanc 2021
White — Sauvignon Blanc
Adelaide Hills — Australia
Fox Gordon is one producer that has a cult following for delicious, completely smashable wines that bring more enjoyment than they should. It's great to support family owned brands, but very few put quite this much energy and vibrancy into their wine ranges as this team. Their savvy b from the famed Adelaide Hills is bright, crunchy, and a touch herbaceous for the ultimate thirst quencher. Cheers to a great glass of sauv!
You’d pay $20 full price.

2x M. Chapoutier Tournon Mathilda Viognier Marsanne 2015
White — Viognier
Victoria — Australia
A classic Rhône-style white blend made right here in Australia. Aged on lees in stainless steel, the wine is pure of fruit but laden with texture and tension. You’ll find stone fruit, minerality and even a bit of viscosity in this one. This is the kind of wine that builds in confidence with some time in bottle, so it’s a pretty big deal to have this one land with seven years to show. Pretty neat little number for your weeknight’s desires.
You’d pay $20 full price.
