Why do we love this case?
We’ve decided to stick with the classic ‘Dangerous Value Whites’ as it describes it oh so well - the real danger with this delicious mixed dozen is that you’ll be sorry you didn’t buy more. There’s a cheeky bottle every occasion. Don’t let me keep you a second longer, mofo!
2x Haselgrove First Cut Pinot Grigio 2022
White — Pinot Grigio
Adelaide Hills — Australia
Haselgrove can do no wrong, and with a strong Italian influence in the winery, pinot grigio is like mother's milk. It's like walking through an apple orchard on a crisp summer's day, the smell of cut grass and green apple skins wafting into the air. This is what pinot grigio is all about: life's simple pleasures. Abundantly fresh and vivacious, this will set your mood alight.

2x Gapsted Ballerina Canopy Pinot Gris 2022
White — Pinot Gris
King Valley — Australia
Another vintage and another year that this pinot gris provides outstanding value. Let’s just lay out the virtues; mature vines, fantastic high altitude vineyard site, thoughtful and precise winemaking and a low price tag.
There is an intense palate of fresh cut pear, green apple and subtle spice on the finish. It walks the tightrope of providing plenty of flavour while also being dry and crisp, right in the zone for Aussie gris. This has become the go to gris for many a mofo over the years so if this is your first run-in with this runaway success, welcome.
You’d pay $25 full price.

2x Erin Grace Chardonnay 2022
White — Chardonnay
Adelaide Hills — Australia
I have to say, I think this could possibly be the best value chardy I have ever tried. I mean it. The best. Ever. That’s not something you say lightly, and I certainly didn’t feel anything wishy-washy about this when I had my first taste. Premium Adelaide Hills fruit hits like no other, and when you pay sub twelve bucks a bottle for it, I think we’re talking about true love. Move over first boyfriend, you’ll be remembering the first dance with this wine for a long time. Primarily this is driven by those citrus and melon notes, there’s a little touch of pineapple and wet stones to satisfy some roundness. You literally could not ask for any more.

2x Common Ground Sauvignon Blanc 2021
White — Sauvignon Blanc
Coonawarra — Australia
Coonawarra might be known for age-worthy reds like cabernet sauvignon, but it is criminally overlooked when it comes to its whites. Why do we say that? Because with all that even growing temperature and well-documented terroir, whites such as sauvignon blanc show not only typicity, but vibrant acidity, and a restrained, sophisticated edge. Leaning on the edge of tropical with green pineapple, green apple, feijoa and lime pith- this is as fresh and unique as they come.
You’d pay $20 full price.

2x Reschke R-Series Riesling 2022
White — Riesling
Limestone Coast — Australia
Riesling that is bright, young and fresh as a daisy - coming at you for at an epic price in a dozen. Yes please! Reschke are masters at crafting excellent and very reliable wines. This rizza is full of blossoms and citrus, a nervy line of acid and beautiful texture. Whether you drink now or hold for a couple of years, it is sure to please.
You’d pay $20 full price.

Tasting Notes
2x M. Chapoutier Tournon Mathilda Viognier Marsanne 2015
White — Viognier
Victoria — Australia
A classic Rhône-style white blend made right here in Australia. Aged on lees in stainless steel, the wine is pure of fruit but laden with texture and tension. You’ll find stone fruit, minerality and even a bit of viscosity in this one. This is the kind of wine that builds in confidence with some time in bottle, so it’s a pretty big deal to have this one land with seven years to show. Pretty neat little number for your weeknight’s desires.
You’d pay $20 full price.
