2x Sorby Adams HandCrafted Shiraz Montepulciano 2022
Red — Shiraz Blend
South Australia — Australia
Sorby Adams do things their own way. And when their own way involves blending Barossa shiraz with Italian-varietal montepulciano and giving it serious oak maturation, the results are exactly as interesting as that sounds. This is a big, polished, richly structured red with genuine complexity - dark fruit, warmth and a depth that builds throughout the palate. The shiraz brings the power and generosity you'd expect from Barossa, while the montepulciano adds a savoury, characterful edge that lifts the whole thing into genuinely exciting territory. Smooth, long and completely satisfying from start to finish.

2x Mitolo Wines Jester Black Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
Boasting all the dark fleshy plums and blackberries you can poke a stick at, with subtle but lingering black olive and chocolate nuances. A prized producer and a prized shiraz. This one's got 'long-lunch' written all over it... and a bit of 'dancing on the table with a bottle in your hand after a long-lunch' about it too, if we're honest. These are the wines we love. This is the answer to all of your midweek quaffer conundrums. This is one iconic McLaren Vale producer, known for incredible red wines that speak to their Italian heritage. Texturally, this is smoother than Barry White and a lingering liveliness on the back palate ensures pleasurable quaffing from now right through the next few years. It’s an easy-going medium-bodied drop with surprising balance, depth of flavour and length.

2x Hither & Yon Old Jarvie 'The Saviour' Grenache Blend 2020
Red — Grenache Blend
McLaren Vale — Australia
No gimmicks, no fluff. Just seriously tasty wine with personality. This savvy little blend (grenache, mataro and touriga) the aromatics burst out of the glass with red florals, rhubarb and a flick of menthol freshness. It’s inviting straight away. On the palate, it’s dark berries, black and red cherry, toasted spice and a hint of roasted nuts. There’s a wild herb twist weaving through the fruit, giving it that Iberian vibe without losing its McLaren Vale generosity. Medium-bodied, bright and energetic, it’s structured but not stiff - the kind of wine that’s clearly well made but still knows how to have a good time. Chuck it next to baked snapper with romesco, grilled meats, or anything smoky and Mediterranean and you’re set. Cool producer. Clever blend. Super delicious.

2x Serafino Wines Vineyard Selection Cabernet Shiraz 2022
Red — Cabernet Blend
McLaren Vale — Australia
Cabernet and shiraz. Two of Australia's greatest red varieties, grown in one of its greatest red wine regions, transformed into Australia's greatest red blend. When McLaren Vale producers gets this blend right - and this lot always do - the result is something genuinely hard to resist. Dark berry and plum from the cabernet, a peppery, velvety richness from the shiraz, and a spice-driven complexity woven through a palate that's structured, approachable and deeply satisfying. The tannins have enough presence to give it shape without ever feeling grippy, and the finish carries on long after the glass is empty. This is the bottle for a long Sunday lunch, a good piece of red meat, or a midweek dinner that deserves something better than ordinary. Exceptional value from a five-star producer. Grab a few - trust us, you'll find plenty of reasons to open them.

2x Coltbridge Red Blend 2022
Red — Cabernet Blend
South Australia — Australia
No pomp and pretence here... Tuesday night dinner. Barbecue with the neighbours. A quiet glass after a long day - when you want something dependable and delicious without having to think too hard about it. This is that wine - and at this price, it's one of the best decisions you'll make all week. Black cherry, cassis and vanilla on the nose, with a bright, fruit-forward palate that's medium to full-bodied, lively and genuinely satisfying. A whisper of eucalyptus and cocoa adds just enough complexity to keep things interesting, and the oak is handled smartly - present but never heavy-handed. Exactly what it's supposed to be. Delicious, reliable and ridiculously good value. Stock up. You'll go through it faster than you think.
You’d pay $24 full price.

2x Jaressa Estate Post The Love Shiraz 2017
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
This back-vintage Barossa Shiraz brings all the richness you expect, but with the bonus of bottle age smoothing out every edge. It’s deep, dark and silky - think plush berries, mocha, warm spice and that slow-unfurling Barossa power that only time can soften. The 2017 vintage has settled beautifully, giving you a mature, ready-to-drink Shiraz that feels way more serious than the price suggests. There’s real weight and warmth here, yet it finishes clean and refined. Finding aged Barossa at this level for $12.99 is almost unheard of - it’s a steal hiding in plain sight.
You’d pay $20 full price.
