2x Byron & Harold Gravity Black Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Margaret River — Australia
This champions bold flavours and refined elegance. Margaret River cab sits somewhere in between medium and full-bodied when it comes to palate weight, but that allows for finesse and pure fruit expression in abundance. That's what's on full display in this recurring bestseller. Blackcurrant, ripe plum, and hints of cedar mingling with earthiness and vibrant fruit. On the palate, layers of blackberry, dark cherry, and cassis interlace seamlessly, supported by structured tannins. Dark chocolate and subtle oak add complexity to the long, lingering finish. This wine embodies the hallmark Margaret River style, showcasing a perfect harmony of richness, balance, and the region's distinct terroir.

2x Di Fabio Winemaker's Selection Cabernet Blend 2016
Red — Cabernet Blend
McLaren Vale — Australia
McLaren Vale cabernet can only be described as decadent. McLaren Vale cabernet after 9 years in the cellar can only be described as nothing short of indulgent. Plush, rich blackberries and plums with a raspberry like acidity and wonderfully soft tannins. There's a good lick of oak but nothing distracting, a hint of eucalypt but it stops short of menthol. This wine's time in the cellar has done it absolute wonders - soft, smooth, silky, yet powerful, plush and ripe. A great wine from one of McLaren Vale's greatest producers.

2x Vintage Longbottom H McLaren Vale Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
Classic McLaren Vale blueberry brightness. Juicy and ripe but with a cooler, more focused dark fruit profile. Mulberries, plums, violets abound - the aromatic profile is tightly bound to freshness and richness. A bit of tannic structure gives the wine length and a fullness on the palate, but it remains shapely and plush. A satisfying McLaren Vale shiraz that speaks loudly and proudly of the region.
You’d pay $28 full price.

2x Farmer's Leap Pillar Box Red 2021
Red — Shiraz Blend
Padthaway — Australia
Wow - this is a knockout. At the price this wine commands, you literally could not find anything better. We try a lot of wines here, and to say that this one was instantly outstanding is barely touching on how impressed we were. Incredible aromatics meet you on the nose, a tribute to the cab sauv that makes up a quarter of the blend. Shiraz shines with a bountiful expression of plum, blackberry and preserved cherries - the good ones that you save for your Sunday roast. Give us an hour to talk about this wine, and we’d do so without skipping a beat.

2x Thistledown The Opportunist Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
Langhorne Creek — Australia
A very smart little wine that is at once knock-about and complex. A medley of cherries and blackcurrants accompanied by hints of freshly ground coffee, dark chocolate, peppermint, liquorice, and subtle pepper aromas. It boasts a dense, velvety texture, offering a well-balanced fruit profile.

2x Terra Vino Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 2023
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Langhorne Creek — Australia
This is a super varietal wine - everything about this screams cabernet sauvignon. Deep, pure fruit, both black and red, with the typical herbaceousness and a gorgeously interwoven spicy oak. This is an absolute cracker, every day of the week. The kind of wine that can fully express its self with food or without. If this is your first time trying Langhorne Creek cabernet, welcome - tome to find out what all the reviewers are fussing about.
