2x Prometheus Flame Series Montepulciano 2022
Red — Montepulciano
Riverland — Australia
Montepulciano is Italian wine built for Aussie palates. Broad, rich, densely fruited and always robust. This is sun-drenched, fruit forward drinking at its most succulent and most generous. Ripe black currant and blueberries on the back of fruit leather and cassis. That fruit profile is supported by ample acidity and just the right amount of tannin. This is an Italian variety with real Aussie personality.

2x Schild Estate Shiraz 2020
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
Whenever you're looking to decipher the quality of a winery, go straight for the middle-tier wines. That's how you separate the good producers from the exceptional ones: by the calibre and attention they pay at every level. It's a great thing to look at the wines of Schild Estate, and this 'Estate' shiraz is full of that greatness. Brimming with chocolate and boysenberry richness, coupled with plenty of black pepper and clove spice. This is shiraz, stripped back, unfussy, pure and simple. What a delight.
You’d pay $30 full price.

2x Amelia Park Ironstone Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
Frankland River — Australia
This wine is, without doubt, one of the most popular we’ve ever seen at Vinomofo. How popular is popular, you ask? Well, thirsty mofos took over 30,000 bottles of a previous vintage straight out of our hands. Yup. We know it’s a great wine deal but when our mofo members are this unanimous in their desire for this drop; well it’s simply cause for one big shiraz gluggin’ celebration.
Full bodied and silky smooth with lashings of plums and earthy spice; if you’re quaffing this Frankland River gem on a week night, know you’re in good company alongside many a mofo. With one fist in the air (and the other holding a glass of this wine) we salute you!
You’d pay $33 full price.

2x Penley Estate Erin Grace Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
Shortlisted for Halliday's 2024 Winery of the Year. WINNER of Halliday's 2024 Winemaker of the Year. It's no wonder this win'es aknock-out: black currant, cassis, and subtle cedar notes meet dark cherry, plum, and a bit of vanilla. That's all complemented by well-integrated tannins that provide a velvety texture. Robust yet elegant, this is full bodied and boasting a long, satisfying finish. Delicious at every turn.
You’d pay $25 full price.

2x Gapsted Limited Release Cabernet Tempranillo 2019
Red — Cabernet Blend
King Valley — Australia
It may not be the most traditional of blends, but us Aussies excel in bringing together perfect pairings. Perfectly poised cabernet meets herbaceous, chocolatey tempranillo to create a ripe-yet-savoury drop for all seasons. The tannins are fine, welcoming a little bit of food to pair. We’re thinking some oily cheeses and maybe cured meats. Sounds pretty good, hey?
You’d pay $31 full price.

Tasting Notes
2x Francas Vineyard Tempranillo 2023
Red — Tempranillo
South Australia — Australia
Ripe cherries, strawberries, and subtle vanilla notes. There's a neat, linear structure to this wine which frames the fruit well. Softly tannic, full bodied and fruit forward - this is such a great wine for any occasion. Tempranillo is famous for its versatility, and this wine champions that for sure; easy drinking for anyone who fancies a glass of red.
You’d pay $22 full price.
