Why do we love this case?
Everyone’s a bit sharper and more on point when there’s danger about. So straighten up, get focused and gear up for a pack of dangerously good dangerous value reds. No need to activate that ‘fight or flight’ instinct though, just some glassware and a few mates.
2x Starling Shiraz 2020
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
Like a good book, wine is not all about what’s on the cover. But we have to say, when you’re getting great vino in some super sleek packaging, it’s a big bonus. This is the Barossa classic with a modern edge. Fruit-driven and rich, it hits every corner of your palate with pleasing intensity. The oak-imparted tannins make for a ripper time with some charred meat or veg, perfect for that easy weeknight in.
You’d pay $30 full price.

2x Amelia Park Ironstone Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
Frankland River — Australia
This wine is, without doubt, one of the most popular we’ve ever seen at Vinomofo. How popular is popular, you ask? Well, thirsty mofos took over 30,000 bottles of a previous vintage straight out of our hands. Yup. We know it’s a great wine deal but when our mofo members are this unanimous in their desire for this drop; well it’s simply cause for one big shiraz gluggin’ celebration.
Full bodied and silky smooth with lashings of plums and earthy spice; if you’re quaffing this Frankland River gem on a week night, know you’re in good company alongside many a mofo. With one fist in the air (and the other holding a glass of this wine) we salute you!
You’d pay $33 full price.

2x Reschke Reserve Shiraz 2020
Red — Shiraz
Limestone Coast — Australia
South Australia’s Limestone Coast is not quite as famous as a few neighbouring regions, and as a result the value to be found there is staggering. Take this delicious shiraz from a rock solid mofo fave producer. Its got beautiful intensity, with ripe raspberry highlights on the nose, and a velvety-smooth palate. Add in some earthiness and black fruits, plus a few seeds of vanilla bean and you’ll see why we are impressed. It’s a hearty wine for celebrating life, effortlessly matching to all kinds of winter fare and not having to think twice as you crack open your second bottle.
You’d pay $25 full price.

2x Penley Estate Erin Grace Shiraz Cabernet 2021
Red — Cabernet Blend
Coonawarra — Australia
If you know Coonawarra, we bet you know the makers behind this wine. Each of their wines ooze with sophistication and skill. This is a soaring blend of shiraz and cabernet -a classically Aussie blend we should note- that provides supple jubey fruits in equal measures as fine tannins, vibrant freshness, and a velvety smooth finish. You’ll find yourself reaching for a bottle of this without hesitation, whatever the occasion.
You’d pay $25 full price.

2x Hollick The Bard Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
This is one of those 'if you know you know' wines. We've had the privilege to work with Hollick for years and years. It's almost embarrassing to say how many, it makes us feel old. This range originally was all about shiraz, but we're bringing in the big guns: Coonawarra cabernet. Erring more on the side of chocolate and blackberry cake than it is mint and eucalypt, yet still so notably Coonawarra.
You’d pay $57 full price.

2x Geoff Hardy GMH Shiraz 2019
Red — Shiraz
South Australia — Australia
This producer is a legend in the industry and every drop they release never fails to satisfy – from classic varieties to more experimental blends, there’s always a special touch to these wines. Jam-packed with wild berries, juicy blackcurrants, lush dark chocolate, a splash of mint and a memorable, firm finish - this is an elegant Shiraz that doesn’t ask for your attention, rather it commands it.
You’d pay $19 full price.
