This one leans a little on the meatier side, which will happen when you go a little heavier handed than usual on the mataro in the blend. We're not mad about this one at all; it packs a serious punch, with ripe blackberries, blueberry pie, baking spices and tobacco leaf mingling beautifully in a smoothly textured palate.

Picked during the cool of night and rushed to the winery, the fruit was handled with ultimate care to preserve its purity and brightness. Fermented with a (secret) custom yeast to dial up the flavour and add an extremely pleasing texture, this wine was bottled early to lock in those lifted aromatics and fresh fruit character.
