1x Haselgrove Staff Chardonnay 2022
White — Chardonnay
Adelaide Hills — Australia
It’s back: the mofos favourite rich, big, buttery chardonnay. You’ve gone crazy for this one, year after year. The round melon, pineapple and guava notes abundantly coat the palate, while succulent french oak flavours linger long. Loaded with texture and harmonious layers of citrus and floral notes to really secure its place as one complex chardy. You’ll have no problems knocking back a glass or two of this beauty whatever the occassion, we’ve certainly been known to crack one come 5pm at Mofo HQ.
You’d pay $40 full price.

1x Moss Brothers Fidium Chardonnay 2022
White — Chardonnay
Margaret River — Australia
Margaret River meets Burgundy. Nutty cashew paste and rich tropical notes provide palate breadth and depth on top of peaky acid and energetic minerality. The wine maintains palate weight and shape from start to finish - it feels quite broad and full in the mouth - but there is a wet rock and limestone underscore which marks it throughout. In a way it ties two styles together beautifully, borrowing from the richer iterations of chardy as well as the more acid driven. A stunning wine that we posses in tiny amounts.
You’d pay $55 full price.

1x Sea Glass Chardonnay 2020
White — Chardonnay
Mornington Peninsula — Australia
This is a magical Mornington chardy from a winemaking sorcerer. It’s got ballerina-like poise and sublime balance. It’s medium bodied, with a nice fresh acidity that gives drive and direction.
Peaches, apples and nectarines sit nicely along a flinty streak and a slight smokiness. The finish is nutty, with a nice fleshy back palate that keeps you intrigued right to the very end. Great wine, and it’ll only get better over the next few years. Grab a case for now and a case for future-you.
You’d pay $50 full price.

1x Pirramimma Heritage Chardonnay 2022
White — Chardonnay
South Australia — Australia
We don’t need to tell you about Pirramimma, do we? By now if you’re a regular of Vinomofo, we’re betting that you’ve tried a drop or two from this legendary winery. To say their red wines have been fan favourites would be to severely understate the cult following of this brand. Yes mofo, their white wines are truly as iconic as their reds. This is as abundant as you might expect (or crave), abound with notes of toast, crème brûlée, hazelnut and ripe peaches. If chardonnay is a red wine lover’s white, then this has got to be the one.

1x Riversdale Estate Pisces Chardonnay 2021
White — Chardonnay
Tasmania — Australia
When our mates at Riversdale in the Coal River Valley showed us this wine in its early days, we knew it was the kind of wine that we could not get enough of. A couple of years down the track, and it's seen such an exciting evolution, truly drinking in its prime. There's a great mineral line running through the core, adding an extra layer of complexity on top of the lemon and peach fruit profile. The wine is a bit on the fuller side for such a cool climate region, but we absolutely love that. We’re not talking rich like Margaret River, but certainly bigger and bolder than your average Tassie bottle of white.
You’d pay $38 full price.

1x Kirkton Estate The Matilda Chardonnay 2022
White — Chardonnay
Hunter Valley — Australia
Hunter Valley is one of the oldest regions in Australia, and this producer is one of the most important producers in that long history. Fast forward more than a hundred years and they are still at it - making great wines. This chardonnay is what I’d call a weeknight staple - not too fine and not too rich - sitting deliciously in the middle with a fruit profile of melon and peach and a touch of buttery oak. Whatever night of the week and whatever is on the table - from roast chicken to takeaway falafel - this wine will compliment it well.
You’d pay $25 full price.
