1x La Bollina Armason Chardonnay 2021
White — Chardonnay
Piedmont — Italy
We know, Italian chardonnay might seem weird to some. We love chardy for being the chameleon grape- wherever it goes, it shines. In fact, it’s become such a success in Italy that it is now the 4th most planted white grape. This isn’t reinventing the wheel here, it’s just a well-made, familiar-in-style, and immensely delicious wine. It sees 40% new oak with periodic battonage (that’s the stirring of the lees in barrel to build texture and complexity). You’ll fine pineapple and tropical fruit, along with hints of chamomile and vanilla, all carried by balanced acidity in an elegant and fresh wine. It’s stylish and Italian, two words which are as synonymous as chardonnay and happiness.

1x Wills Domain The Coveted Chardonnay 2022
White — Chardonnay
Margaret River — Australia
Hazelnut, almond dust, some cashew butter - this has emerged as an iconic Mofo wine. There is a bristle of Myer lemon acid that gathers on the gums and really sets the wine alight. The sheer amount that is going on in this wine is something to behold. While full and rich the freshness prevails throughout; mouthwatering and persistent from start to finish. This is Margs chardy through and through.

1x Atlas Block 9 Chardonnay 2022
White — Chardonnay
Adelaide Hills — Australia
Welcome to one of our all-time favourite chardies. Crafted in small batches as they use only the most premium quality grapes, fruit for this particular Chardonnay is sourced from the fantastic Woodside vineyard in Adelaide Hills. Balanced, bright and creamy, this lovely drop is a tropical bowl packed to the rim with melon, mango, peach and grapefruit. There’s a pillowy softness to the palate and a lively acid line that drives its long finish.
You’d pay $35 full price.

1x Rob Dolan Wines Chardonnay 2023
White — Chardonnay
Victoria — Australia
Whether we’ll admit it or not, we all play favourites, and this chardonnay comes from one of our favourite wineries in the biz, Rob Dolan. It’s bursting with personality (much like the Rob himself). There’s a nice line of lemony citrus, hints of cashew and a sneaky oak backbone holding it all together. Pour us another glass and let's get settled in.
You’d pay $35 full price.

1x Taltarni Estate Chardonnay 2023
White — Chardonnay
Pyrenees — Australia
Creamy, textured, shapely on the palate - that's the quality of the oak on show. There is some beeswax-y, toasty nuance, too. The main act, though, is the excellent fruit quality on show. Green apple, winter pear, some papaya, grapefruit, and whole citrus - the complexity of the fruit pulls you deeper into the wine, inviting and delighting the senses. The finish is marked by precise acidity and palate richness, both in perfect step with one another. This is 2023 vintage that is drinking well now, but it will reward your patience.

1x Sorby Adams Handcrafted Chardonnay 2022
White — Chardonnay
Adelaide — Australia
Sorby Adams is a producer whose reds we have adored, and as we dabble into some whites we're continually astounded by how good his wines are. Having been head winemaker at Yalumba for 20 years, he certainly know how to make top quality vino. This chardy is genuinely unbelievable value for money: texturally it flows on the palate like a plush peach. Time on lees has meant that it has a yoghurty, creamy consistency and the finish is ever so delightful. I'm really damn excited about this wine, and I reckon you will be too mofo.
You’d pay $30 full price.
