1x Churchview The Bartondale Chardonnay 2021
White — Chardonnay
Margaret River — Australia
Just the way we like our chardy - rich and nutty. It paints a detailed picture with a broad brush; imposing and powerful yet deft and intricate. Candied lemon zest, yellow flowers, stone fruit, burnt pineapple, buttered popcorn, and whipped cream form part of what is a seemingly unlimited trove of aromatic and flavour complexity. Structured, brightly acidic, ripe, rich. This is one that's in it's prime and staying in its prime. It will drink beautifully now, tomorrow, next week, next year, or next decade, so... stock up.
You’d pay $48 full price.

1x Matahiwi Estate Holly South Series Chardonnay 2021
White — Chardonnay
Wairarapa — New Zealand
Matahiwi are a producer who make great wine across the board, but this is from their premium selection, meaning it's just that little bit more special. A real abundance of fruit at the fore - lemon zest and fleshy lime, apricots, peaches, rockmelon, mango. That fruit profile is layered on some biscuity, toasted oat, and toffee richness making for a beautifully balanced drinking experience. Smooth, shapely, and bold chardy from a top Kiwi producer.
You’d pay $45 full price.

1x Taltarni Estate Chardonnay 2023
White — Chardonnay
Pyrenees — Australia
Creamy, textured, shapely on the palate - that's the quality of the oak on show. There is some beeswax-y, toasty nuance, too. The main act, though, is the excellent fruit quality on show. Green apple, winter pear, some papaya, grapefruit, and whole citrus - the complexity of the fruit pulls you deeper into the wine, inviting and delighting the senses. The finish is marked by precise acidity and palate richness, both in perfect step with one another. This is 2023 vintage that is drinking well now, but it will reward your patience.

1x Sunshine Creek Chardonnay 2019
White — Chardonnay
Yarra Valley — Australia
In 2019 things were peachy in the Yarra Valley. Importantly, weather conditions allowed for chardonnay fruit to hang on the vine a little longer. The result of that extended growing season? Seriously rich and ripe chardonnay. This is nutty, vanilla laden, creamy, full bodied goodness. Just how we like it. Dig in, Mofo, this one's for you.
You’d pay $45 full price.

1x Gapsted Limited Release Chardonnay 2021
White — Chardonnay
King Valley — Australia
Fresh and energetic chardy from Victoria’s High Country. Nutty, a little savoury and cheesy in parts, but with zippy stone fruit acidity that bristles on the palate. This is a wonderful example of high altitude brightness that doesn’t become overly lean or stingy. Nectarine, whole lemon, apricot, white peach - this has got it all. Complex and generous chardy under fifteen bucks? Sounds like a steal to me.
You’d pay $31 full price.
