1x Jim Brand Wines The Pursuit Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
When we have this producer at the tasting bench, you can be sure there's a few of us salivating over the wines. This cabernet is always an absolute standout, and we all nod in agreement that this has to be one of the best value cabernets we've ever sold. Ever. An extroverted red which refuses to back down, this wine is fragrant with dark forest fruits seducing the nose, while traces of mint and cedar oak add a twist of regional character. A torrent of ripe plum, dark berry and blackcurrant make their presence known on the palate - clearly dominating but steering clear of overwhelming the tastebuds. The finish is superb with great length and a dry finale. An outstanding example of how to balance power with restraint, and succeed - this magnificent cab shows others how it’s done.

1x Penley Estate Black Bull Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
Guess who’s back and ready to go? One of our favourite Coonawarra producers, Penley Estate, has done the hard work to bring back this mofo fave drop. Aptly named, this robust cabernet packs a punch with strong, flavourful and classic Coonawarra characteristics we’ve all come to love and enjoy. Dark fruits of the black forest abound and surround the recogniseable cedary, minty core; while framed with superb mineral tannins that allow for youthful drinking while still earning a nook in your cellar over the next 10+ years.
You’d pay $50 full price.

1x Mitolo Jester Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
McLaren Vale — Australia
This is a jaw-dropping value delight from a Vale winery many a mofo has fallen in love with. This wine is built to entertain; its reason for being is to let the good times roll. Think jubilant, ripe fruit flavours with plushness to spare. A solid sprinkling of tannin keeps the edges in check and dribble-inducing flavours of liquered Morello cherry and chocolate abound.
You’d pay $27 full price.

1x Helen & Joey Inara Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Yarra Valley — Australia
The Yarra Valley has a long, proud history of cabernet production, it's only in recent years that its been less about the bigger reds and more about the pinot and chardy. This, however, speaks to that historical prowess with great confidence; rich, robust, black and red fruited cab with a thin yet persistent line of freshness running both through the fruit profile and the acid structure.
You’d pay $35 full price.

Tasting Notes
1x Byron & Harold Gravity White Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Margaret River — Australia
Does it get any more classic for Margaret River cab? This is banging out all the hits and we’re lapping them up: dried cranberry, red currant, black currant, raspberry, tomato leaf. The oak sits neatly within the wine without drawing focus, perfectly balanced. At once savoury and full of fresh juicy fruit this will hit the spot for just about anyone, making it the perfect ‘anytime’ big red that will sit happily alongside a hearty meal. Grab a case for your wine rack, you’ll thank yourself come pasta night.
You’d pay $32 full price.

1x Wood Park Reserve Shiraz Cabernet 2021
Red — Shiraz Blend
King Valley — Australia
When one of our favourite winemakers in Victoria’s North East asks us to come around and taste a few bottles, we come running. He’s a deadset legend, producing varieties from the region’s finest - including a wildly Tuscan style sangiovese - and while that’s great, what makes our friends wine impeccable is in honouring the timeless classic of shiraz and cabernet. Here is a blend to stand alongside the nation’s best. A classic Aussie wine, that takes on density but balanced in a more medium-body, with plum, cassis, and gloriously fine, fine tannins.
You’d pay $45 full price.
