Plush, rich blackberries and plums with a raspberry like acidity and wonderfully soft tannins. There's a good lick of oak but nothing distracting, a hint of eucalypt but it stops short of menthol. This wine's time in the cellar has done it absolute wonders - soft, smooth, silky, yet powerful, plush and ripe. A great wine from one of McLaren Vale's greatest producers.

From what Vinomofo Wine Buyer (and 30-year Margaret River wine-veteran) Matt, described as "The most underrated producer in Margaret River", we have a brilliant example of the regions champion red wine varietal - cabernet sauvignon. This is as regional as it is varietal - medium-to-full bodied, with drying, albeit silky tannin and a dark, brooding fruit profile. This might be the easiest wine in our arsenal to blind taste, and that's a MASSIVE compliment. Simply gorgeous.

This is jam packed full of black and red fruit - currants and raspberries mix with bramble and plums. The earthy and greener notes chime in late, backing up that initial fruit with some savoury depth. Classic Coonawarra - completely delicious. Estate fruit from the famed Hollick vineyards in Coonawarra, this is cab sauv like Aussies know and love. Certainly, a little bit of age behind this number has helped to fill out the mid palate, making it rich and dense with threads of fennel and mint throughout. It's very hard not to enjoy this wine - and we're speaking from experience.

One of the highest selling producers on the entire Vinomofo platform. Our Mofos cannot get enough - and this cabernet is a perfect example of why. Sophisticated, fruit-driven and completely delicious. Drink now or cellar to 2032. This cabernet draws fruit from three distinct McLaren Vale sites, each bringing something different to the blend. Ancient Maslin Sands stretching back 56 million years on two blocks, and deep alluvial clay on the third - a diversity of soils and sub-regions that produces a cabernet of wonderful complexity and character. Aromatic and completely inviting on the nose - cassis, spice and a varietal precision that signals quality immediately. The palate is rich and generous, with blackcurrant fruit filling every corner, structured tannins providing elegance and length, and a fruit weight and generosity that's become the hallmark of everything this producer makes.

This wine is built to entertain; its reason for being is to let the good times roll. Think jubilant, ripe fruit flavours with plushness to spare.
