Tasting Notes
1x Atlas Block 9 Chardonnay 2021
White — Chardonnay
Adelaide Hills — Australia
Established in 2007, think of this winery as the cool, new kids on the block. What they don't have in age, they make up for in skill. Crafted in small-batches as they use only the most premium quality grapes, fruit for this particular Chardonnay is sourced from the fantastic Woodside vineyard in Adelaide Hills. Balanced, bright and creamy, this lovely drop is a tropical fruit bowl packed to the rim with melon, mango, peach and grapefruit. There’s a pillowy softness to the palate and a lively acid line which drives its long finish.
You’d pay $35 full price.

Alpine Valleys — Australia
Exuding elegance and charm, this is a gris that captivates all senses. Delicate floral aromas intertwine with the vibrant spiced pear fruit notes, cinnamon, and Meyer lemon, creating an inviting bouquet. Tensely balanced to provide both freshness and texure, this is really an ‘all-purpose’ wine for any food or mood.

1x Reschke R-Series Riesling 2023
White — Riesling
Limestone Coast — Australia
Young, bright, and fresh as a daisy. This rizza is full of blossoms and citrus, a nervy line of acid and beautiful texture. Reschke are known for their long-lived red wines, and that applies just as much to their pristinely crafted whites. I mean, you don't get a 96pt score for nothing. Whether you drink this beauty now or hold it for a couple of years, it's a pleaser for sure.
You’d pay $20 full price.

1x Matahiwi Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2023
White — Sauvignon Blanc
Wairarapa — New Zealand
Well, mofo, see, we love Matahiwi. They make great wines that rival the very best of NZ. We’d even pack some bottles for a holiday to Fiji. No doubt about it; these folks know how to please. A cracking example of Kiwi savvy b, and a perfect pairing to seafood. It’s punchy and fruity; the flavour is as clear as day. Passionfruit, sugar peas, and a citrus freshness. This is so much fun in a glass - and a savvy b on a hot summer’s day? It’s about all you need.
You’d pay $25 full price.

1x Tomich Woodside Vineyard Pinot Grigio 2022
White — Pinot Grigio
Adelaide Hills — Australia
Far from needing to shout its in-your-face-fruity credentials from the rooftops, this grigio is quietly understated. Perfect for an after-work wind-down, it’s delightfully easy drinking and perennially pleasing. It’s equally at home in any season - crisp freshness lends itself to summer, but there’s enough texture to delight in the winter too. If ever there was a wine to keep in the fridge, ready to go, it’s this.
You’d pay $25 full price.

1x Bodegas Olarra Otoñal Crianza 2019
Red — Tempranillo
Rioja DOC — Spain
This has great upfront leather and dried fruit aromatics which evolve into candied red currant and a little bit of dried fruit which offers immediate generosity and approachability. There is capsicum and pepper aromatics, too, which is classic for the varietal and region. Some cedar and vanilla notes are tucked neatly into the finish, rounding out the complexity nicely. This is complex and interesting without ever losing its fun, knock-about robustness. A wine for all, that's for sure.
You’d pay $24 full price.

Tasting Notes
1x Amelia Park Ironstone Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
Frankland River — Australia
This wine is, without doubt, one of the most popular we’ve ever seen at Vinomofo. How popular is popular, you ask? Well, thirsty mofos took over 30,000 bottles of a previous vintage straight out of our hands. Yup. We know it’s a great wine deal but when our mofo members are this unanimous in their desire for this drop; well it’s simply cause for one big shiraz gluggin’ celebration.
Full bodied and silky smooth with lashings of plums and earthy spice; if you’re quaffing this Frankland River gem on a week night, know you’re in good company alongside many a mofo. With one fist in the air (and the other holding a glass of this wine) we salute you!
You’d pay $33 full price.

Tasting Notes
1x Patrick of Coonawarra Two Blocks Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
Patrick of Coonawarra really walk and talk quality. You might think that’s an inherent product of small family businesses, but we certainly know that’s not always the case. There’s unbelievable value packed into this bottle, with no effort or attention to detail spared. A decent 40% new oak contributes to sweet, abundant tannins that really make the whole drinking experience that much more exciting. This won over more than a few hearts at the tasting bench, so we’re pretty confident in saying that you’re going to be head over heels for it too, mofo.
You’d pay $32 full price.

1x Sieber Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
Barossa Valley — Australia
Drumroll please, coming down the red carpet and into the hall of fame: Sieber shiraz. Out of the heart of Barossa, this wine delivers in spades. How do we get this kind of wine to you at such an affordable price? It boggles the mind, but we do. The generous fruit profile of ripe blackberries and cherry pie aromatics entice; savoury elements back this up over the palate with subtle cedar, soft spice and dark chocolate tones. The finish is smooth, supple and succulent. Who doesn’t need a top up of some reliable quaffing reds to supercharge your evening? At this price, jump on quick because if history tells us anything; this deal will not last long.
You’d pay $28 full price.

Tasting Notes
1x Mitolo Jester Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
McLaren Vale — Australia
This is a jaw-dropping value delight from a Vale winery many a mofo has fallen in love with. This wine is built to entertain; its reason for being is to let the good times roll. Think jubilant, ripe fruit flavours with plushness to spare. A solid sprinkling of tannin keeps the edges in check and dribble-inducing flavours of liquered Morello cherry and chocolate abound.
You’d pay $27 full price.

Tasting Notes
1x Watkins Cellar Reserve Shiraz Cabernet 2017
Red — Shiraz Blend
Langhorne Creek — Australia
The name Watkins might be new to some, but their contributions to the wine industry have pre-dated many. In fact, they’ve been making the wines for many big name South Australian wineries for decades. Walk into their cellar door right on the border of McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills, and you’ll never want to leave. I was captured with their cellar reserve wines, the way that the plush fruit balanced so well with the savoury edges. There is no occasion that this wine doesn’t fit. Luckily for us, the same applies to the company of Jo, Sam, and Ben Watkins. Cheers to you, legends!
