2x Dandelion Vineyards 'Lioness of the McLaren Vale' Shiraz 2019
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
Dandelion Vineyards are one of those producers we have always admired: such a range of wines that really speak to quality and attention. So of course, McLaren Vale shiraz got us a little excited, and the wine really lived up to expectations. Densely laden with purity of fruit and a texture building oak profile: it's very hard to say no to a second glass of this gem.
You’d pay $30 full price.

2x Flints of Coonawarra Gamons Crossing Cabernet Sauvignon 2017
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
Flints of Coonawarra are a pretty small winery, in a very small region. The Flint family have worked the vineyards of Coonawarra for six generations, and their wines speak to the quality fruit they produce. In fact, the same vineyard that produces this cabernet has historically gone into St Henri cabernet, so you know this is really top tier stuff. Bursting with classic Coonawarra notes of menthol, blackcurrant and eucalypt, you’ll want to return to glass after glass of this beauty.
You’d pay $60 full price.

2x Pirathon Silver Shiraz 2019
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
You’ll know this winery the second you get an eye on the bottles, and for good reason. This producer has been at the fore of producing those styles Aussies love from reds out of the valley. Dark fruits such as plums and blackberries step forward and there’s plenty of secondary notes such as cedar, pastille and chocolate. If Barossa shiraz is your jam (but not too jammy of course), then you can turn to this number to give you the happiness you seek.
You’d pay $32 full price.

2x Nick Haselgrove Clarence Hill Red Label Shiraz 2019
Red — Shiraz

A beautifully rich, deep glass of shiraz this truly is. It's not just the wine that is all about the premium touch, the bottle is just as striking and sure to catch a few eyes. Full of dark fruits (plum and blueberry), toasty oak and smooth tannins, ready to drink now and evolve over the next 10 years. It’s the kind of wine that makes you happy no matter the weather - the wind can howl, the rain can pour, or the sun can shine; you'll be glad to be cradled by this warm hug of a wine.
