2x Archery Road Longbow Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
Barossa Valley. — Barossa
From the prized southern part of the sun-drenched Barossa, steeped in quality grown shiraz (you know we’ve done the research). It’s right here, where the surrounding views offer the picture-perfect painting; a diversity of colours from the tree leaves to the soils, which in turn give our favourite grape - shiraz. A blend of hand-selected low-yielding parcels, you’ll find generous flavours of black fruit, olive and pepper spice, backed by silky tannins, yet the wine is intense on the palate, with a great depth and length.
You’d pay $80 full price.

2x Sorby Adams Reverend Canon Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Barossa
There's a reason this has become THE Mofo fave Barossa shiraz: it’s powerful, opulent and complex. It's ripe, rich and raring to go. This is completely astounding value, Mofo. This is the style of shiraz that made the world take notice of this ripper region. Simon 'Sorby' Adams is the master craftsman behind this wine (can you say, ex-head winemaker at Yalumba?), so it's no surprise that this is a seriously high calibre wine. Rich expressions of blackberry, plum, chocolate, spices and cedar from the use of 30% new French oak. After four years cellaring time, it’s drinking beautifully now, but has another decade of prime left in it for those patient types. This one is a bestseller for a reason, we invite you to find out for yourself.
You’d pay $75 full price.

2x Auld Family Wines 'The Ernie' Single Vineyard Shiraz 2023
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Barossa
96 points and a 4.2 Vivino Rating are absolutely nothing to shake a stick at. All the hallmarks of classic Barossa shiraz are right here. Generous, bold and packed full of flavour, we're unbelievably stoked with how this vintage is drinking (already)!
The Barossa Valley is home to quite a few multi-generational wine families. There are legacies as far as the eye can see, stretching across the Barossa plains and rooted as deep as the oldest vineyards. The Aulds are one such family, with the current generation Sam and Jock paying tribute to their lineage who were planting Australian vineyards in the mid 1800's. Each sip tells a story of sun-soaked vineyards, family traditions, and a relentless pursuit of quality. After the first taste of Ernie shiraz you won't be looking back.
You’d pay $65 full price.

2x Ulithorne Prospera Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Barossa
We know Mofos will be calling us up and thanking us for bringing this wine back on board. This is almost shockingly good, the kind of wine that will have you checking the price you paid for it in disbelief. A favourite for a reason, this is the 'Shawshank Redeption' of wines - every body loves it even if they won't admit it. Small batch and handcrafted using premium fruit from one of their best McLaren Vale vineyards - this Mofo-Favourite producer have crafted another vintage of the beautiful shiraz that showcases the region and variety with class and enthusiasm. Vibrant, rich and buzzing with energy. Juicy redcurrant and plum punctuate the palate, followed by a generous dash of spice. Fruit forward and silky smooth with lingering tannins throughout, it’s complete with a long, striking finish. Drinking well now and with a decade ahead of it, this isn’t a deal to let pass you by, Mofo.
You’d pay $55 full price.

2x Ivyburn First Minister Shiraz 2022 750mL
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Barossa
This deeply personable shiraz expresses ripe red berries, black pepper, spice and blackcurrant . Full-bodied and complex, the ripe characteristics of rich, broad fruits, and overt chocolatey notes tell you that, odds are, you're in the great McLaren Vale region. In other words, this is a strikingly regional wine that expresses all that is great about this phenomenal region. Fragrant American oak is displayed with intensity and vibrancy and, along with an already present texture and structure, set this wine up for a very long life in the cellar. Drink now - 2035 (at least).

McLaren Vale — Barossa
If you don’t know by now, we think it’s time for you to loop yourself in. The Pirramimma Limited Edition Shiraz comes from the fruit out of the famous “War Horse” and “Ironstone” blocks. The vines are old and what they lack in quantity (yield), they make up for in superb quality. Full bodied, but balanced with pepper and spice, there are just so many layers to discover in this wine. Laden with luscious, ripe blackberries, earthy blackcurrants, mocha, hints of cedar and a dollop of liquorice, you’re in for a treat with this divine, velvety red.
